Great win! We got them on the ropes!
Kolek with the perfect transition dish to Sochan
Sochan channeling the forgotten CJ McCollum
Welcome to the series, dominant version of Brunson
7 shots only is still a head scratcher for me, also a good start to happy hour

Who?
Feels like we figured them out. We’ve outplayed them for probably 15-16 out of 20 quarters. They have no answer for KAT - tried Dyson, didn’t work, just allowed Brunson to drop 40 on them instead. Brown adjusted well and I’m not sure there’s a counter left in the bag for ATL. Knicks defense figured out how to eliminate the CJ 1:1 mismatch opportunities and just smothered the ATL offense last 2 games.

When Brunson is hot you'll get this. KAT should have more touches no matter what so it is something to keep an eye on.
The key going forward is Brunson recognizing when to flip the script. If his shot is not falling, don't force it, enable KAT instead.
I missed the first half, but what I did see tonight was team defense which was actually great for a change. That was championship quality defense.
If the whole team keeps showing up on D like this then the offense will unfold organically and that allows them to feed the hot hand.
Yay for the good guys
Really glad to see them playing beautiful basketball again. Ball is moving; everyone is touching it; energy and engagement translates on the defensive end.
Someone said it earlier about Dyson being Ben Simmons. Very true. Dare Dyson to beat you; double and blitz the other guys especially CJ
Hey does anyone know what happened to fishmike? I don't recall seeing posts from him in some time
Brunson got going because they put Dyson on KAT so for the first time all series he was primarily guarded by someone who wasn’t top 3 caliber defense. And by the time they put Dyson back on JB he was deep in his bag.

CJ got a thing for Brunson’s nads
Once this is done, I'd invite CJ to join us next year. Gonna have to adjust to a lower salary but if wants to be part of this ok by me.
I like how he handled himself in defeat last two games. Dude keeps it professional. Now, the villian thing? Yeah, it was to get his team going and they took game two. Sometimes you have to see how a man reacts not just on the way up but the way down.
Good game tonite. Jalen made a statement, KAT Was awesome, and Mikal played hard. Long as we winning, he ok with me.
Deal with the offseaon after the parade!
It took long enough but I am glad to see the team figure out how important Kat is and how to use him.
1) OG is ballin. Not perfect but damn he’s good on both sides of the floor.
2) KAT/OG playing a real 2 man game.
3) the screen curl for OG is near unstoppable. Jump on top of OG before he starts his shooting motion appears to be the only defense.
4) Mikal/Hart need to find themselves. Maybe talk to Aaron Rodger’s and do an isolation chamber therapy. It’s game time.
5) Hart is losing Johnson on the first move every time. And the Brunson “trap” gets broken every time. All it does is push ATL into taking a more frenetic shot. Kind of thinking it’s working(?). Not sure though. It definitely forces Hawks to break their play. But generally is resulting in an open 3.
6) MitchBeast is automatic. His vertical range is everything on alley passes. Put it up. He gets it. Automatic.
7) Brunson channeling his inner Lowry. Holding jerseys and push offs.
8) I like Bridges looking to initiate the offense. Gives the defense different looks to defend.
9) KAT I a man possessed. 7 shots but man he is affecting the outcome every play.

What I like about OG is he is fearless and never gets rattled. That’s a guy you want to go into battles with. OG can miss a dunk or airball a 3 or dribble off his foot and just shakes it right off and doesn’t let it mentally affect him. Whereas you can tell Mikal feels every miss deep into his bones.
Knicks haven’t won a series in which they trailed in over a quarter century. It will be very good for this team and fan base to realize falling down 2-1 isn’t a death sentence.

Great game by JB. Truly one of the best scorers around.
It is crazy how he took more shots than KAT,OG and Bridges combined.
But no complaints here since it lead to a complete beat down of the Hawks.
Hopefully other Knicks will have it going when teams make it a goal to take him out of the offense.

If you look at it rationally, we had three bad quarters.
