If that is what led to the change and they continue to play like they have last 3 games, 100% they will have been.

Benji on KFS post game said those 2 losses were the best thing possible for this team because it led to tonight. If Knicks win in 5, tonight maybe doesn't happen. Mikal maybe doesn't get out of his rut. OG doesn't have a flagship playoff game. KAT doesn't get his second straight playoff triple double. Knicks reserves don't all get extended run to build a little rhythm in case their number is called. Knicks don't have the same sky high confidence going into next round.

I agree, if Knicks win in 5, Game 6 definitely doesn't happen.
I'm with you though, Knicks needed the wakeup call for what's hopefully a deep postseason run.

Coach Brown has posted pictures of the team BEFORE and AFTER in the locker room ......
"We used to be a 90 lb. weakling, but since we started playing honey badger defense bullies no longer kick sand in our faces"

Good listen. Couple remarks around the 40 min mark about Brunson doing less while running more through KAT that I thought was spot on

Most dominant playoff win in NBA history! We will never ever seen something like that. We played our best and they played at their absolute worst! Atlanta couldn't even make a simple pass! NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE IT! I honestly think if we had martin, Nalod and 3 of those fat girls, we would've put up a better effort! LOL!
I'm starting to wonder if losing game 2 and 3 was the best thing to happen to this team cause we've been razor focused since then. All credit to these players but especially Brunson and Brown. Brown was prenominal and make all the right adjustments especially having the offense go through our Point Center KAT! So happy for the big man! No player is more ridiculed locally or in the national media than him and he put together his best series of his career. His defensive jump has been historical. I think his defense and dive for that loose ball was the turning point in this game. We never looked back after that and went on a 63-11 run!!! INSANE!!!!
Hats off to Brunson. Started the series playing like shit at both ends but finished strong and kudos to him for adjusting the gameplan and playing his role.
OG FUCKING ANUNOBDY! If this guy keeps playing like this, we can beat anyone!! The shot making is incredible! Started like 7/8 from the field and was showing off the entire arsenal! Atlanta just had no answer and he completely outplayed All-Star Jalen Johnson!
SOOOO HAPPY MIKAL FINALLY MADE HIS PLAYOFF DEBUT!!! He was hitting everything! He's a vet and all vets go through slumps and I'm hoping he snapped out in this game cause we'll need him to play better next series. His defense was solid all series long and was key in slowing down McCollum and NAW.
A BIG FUCK YOU TO DYSON DANIELS! Tried to be PJ Brown and play dirty when his team was down! Zero respect for that POS! He's lucky Mitch was held back!!!
140-89!!! Third straight game we held them under 100 points! (38% shooting, 19 turnovers). Third straight game we killed them on the glass too!
BRING ON BOSTON OR PHILLY! IDC WHO WE PLAY!

Was like 3 bad quarters in game 2-3? Knicks second half in game 3 almost got it done. The collapse in game two was 4th quarter?
We lost by two points! We panicked, Knicks did not. Thats all that matters. Perhaps it was thought CJ could not hold up all game or thru the series. Bottom line was ATL ran out of answers and knicks have too much talent. I loved last night it was great to see Mikal play loose. Our MVP? It was OG. Kid was demonic!
