Not saying we will win next series or a title but watching Kat play makes it very hard to question the trade to get him and Brown needs great credit in getting him to play the way he is --- BEAUTIFUL basketball from a TOP 10 all-around talent in the league.
Keep it going Kat - just wonderful to see this style of play.
KAT is playing like an MVP. Brunson playing off ball is working amazingly. Our wings are doing real work on both sides of the ball. Our bench is deep and making their minutes count. I have zero complaints.
Agree w this. One complaint: where was Mikal on the 3 pt party? Ok maybe another: we should have let Mitch launch a couple

I know we destroyed Atlanta after Game 3 but I did not expect us to sweep Philly. I actually expected a long tough series (point differential in 2024 was 2 points) and this was the most dominant series probably of our life time. And this was against a team that came back down 3-1 against Boston!
The first quarter was almost not real! 11/13 from three! I've never seen us shoot the ball like that! Deuce hit 4 threes and none even hit the rim! 25/44 from three as a team!!! That one play where Brunson crossed over Barlow and hit the reverse layup over Embiid followed by a steal by Deuce and pass back to Brunson for a corner three almost made me pass out! Just elite team basketball at both ends!
Hats off to Mikal! That was as good a series as we're going to see from someone defensively. He helped hold Maxey to 18.3 ppg on 43% and 16% from three! Maxey was held under 20 in three of the four games! So happy for Mikal!
Kudos to the entire team! Brown has help unlocked another level of this team that looks like a legit title contender. KAT as the point forward and hub has opened up this offense that looks impossible to stop! Brunson has adjusted and made an almost perfect blend of knowing when to attack and when to defer. Hart found his three ball and we'll need that in the next round. Deuce and Shamet off the bench have been exceptional! Mitch's dunk over Embiid will be remembered forever!
So happy and excited for this team! Going back to back to the ECF is a huge accomplishment! I just hope this week off doesn't kill our momentum but we need the rest! OG with the hammy and KAT took some falls and Hart also could use some time off. Let Cleveland and Detroit get bloody and worn out! STAY HUNGRY WE'RE HALF WAY THERE!!!

I hope Embiid enjoys his Summer full of hamburgers and milkshakes
With a bag of dicks to wash it down
Embiid’s issue his entire career hasn’t just been injuries it’s been conditioning. The better conditioned you are the more durable. That’s why Stockton and Malone played forever. Josh Hart looks like he lives in the gym when he’s not playing 35-40 minutes on the court.
I heard a story about Embiid his rookie year he was injured with a walking boot. He never wore the walking boot despite doctor’s advice. He lived in a hotel room and got nothing but junk food food service and would drink Shirley Temples all day like they were water.

I just rewatched the first quarter. Absolutely horrible defense by Philadelphia. Paul George and Kelly Oubre were jogging on multiple possessions, Embiid and Maxey had absolutely no awareness about how to recover when someone went to trap. Knicks looked great but their shot quality was about the best I have ever seen. Some of the worst defense I have ever seen.

I have read about Stockton and Malone. Yes, conditioning. But they both had quiet an extensive warm up routine before every game. They religiously followed it every time. I actually adopted it myself and was able to play basketball with young guys well into my fourties without injuries. It turned out to be super effective.

Mr. Awfulcoaching has 262K subscribers and put out 5.3K videos in 15 years! Incredible what this guy does. He knows his hoop but also embelishes the negative and takes it beyond. Kind of funny and toxic at the same time!

We are on a run boys! Offense and defense clicking on all cylinders. We get OG back at a hundred and Harts jumper back we are gold. Love how Deuce got his shot back and looking comfortable. Shamet playing at a high level. Love how KAT shares the ball and stayed away from stupid fouls. Love our bench. MR key. Love how Bridges has stepped up in the series. Excited to see where this goes. Chemistry seems to be the best we have had as far back as I can remember. Reminded of how good picking up KAT and JB was. Go Knicks

Imagine if we had a legit stretch-4 off the bench?
