I hate that we are heavy favorites! It seems like every time the media and the betting odds fall in love with us, something bad happens and we end up losing.
Need to win this first game cause we have NEVER won a best-of-seven playoff series in franchise history when we lost Game 1 at home.
Cavs should be exhausted after two 7 games series but.....
The won both! For sure had the tougher path than us.

Can't take Cav's for granted. Harden is still harden but he as 3rd option need not carry the team.
They won without Harden putting up numbers. Thats scary.
The Sam Merrill/Duncan Robinson type dudes were the difference makers in this last series.
I feared them most all season.
I expect knicks to no doubt prevail. We in that place were unless we get to finals its more "relief" than tasting the sweetness of victory!
Its how it goes. Most pundits have them in 6. I'd have to agree for a plethora or reasons.
I expect Cavs to come out loose and jump out to lead. I expect knicks to come out tight.
Keep it under 10 pts and Cav's should wilt in second half unless knicks are flat awful.
My hope? Knicks come out, shake hands, then punch them in the throat and install a patina of defeat and keep the Cav's on their heels on the onset. This is about Shamet and Deuce coming out and shit out lightening! Love to see Alvarez take either Mitchell or Harden and just smother them for a few minutes.

An area needed to be overcome to get to the next level. Meeting the moment when the expectations are there.
So far the expectations were that they made it to the ECC last year with Thibs. So they needed to make it this year bare with Finals hanging in the balance.
Up to this point they have been meeting the expectations!
The Cavs are jumping to an early 20 point lead. Knicks will comeback and win considerably.

If that's cuz Knicks are just missing shots and Cavs are hitting some bs then ok. But if its cuz Knicks come out sluggish and getting outworked then that would be unacceptable to start off.
