This is the Finals and they degraded the event with that stunt. I found it truly offensive
I tried really hard not to be overly sensitive to it but, I agree 100%. It's the fucking Finals, treat it as such. I had a higher respect and bar for the San Antonio franchise to not do minor league bullshit like that and treat the moment as it should be treated. Can never imagine that stupid shit being done at MSG.
On the flip side, I am sure the players noticed and used it as a little motivation.

Re Brunson and foster my suspicion is it had to do with that episode where Brunson kept slipping on the floor and couldn’t get up. They didn’t talk about it during the game. It seemed so slippery I was like that can’t be normal sweat-like slippery and has to be that someone spilled or threw a drink. Anyway after 2 or 3 times of just slipping down on the floor again Brunson was screaming at foster because the spurs turned that into a man advantage as Brunson couldn’t get up. If it were a wet floor like that foster should have immediately called for a stoppage of play. And if true foster knew Brunson was right and that’s why he tolerated the screaming during the game and the face to face after. Either that or something concerning the big FT discrepancy
He’s too old and I think prone to miss calls and be out of the action but on the other hand he is seasoned enough to know when he may have gotten something wrong and let the player say his thing.
I wonder if that clown Silver will show his mug in MSG and if so whether the fans will greet him like he deserves. It would be awesome if Dolan gives him the Uecker seats

I would love to see Silver get booed if we win it all in the Garden but the tickets being astronomical are going to filter out most of the hardcore fans. It’s going to be 18,000 hedge funds managers, celebrities and trustfund babies at the game who don’t even know half the roster

Brunson continues to show the world who he is! And that's one of the best, if not the best, closer in the league! Tied 86-86 7 minutes left and we again showed we have experience in big games and we know how to close them! Didn't shoot it well all game (7/31!) but when it was time to make clutch shots, Brunson responded like he usually does with 13 in the 4th! Play of the game was him getting that offensive rebound and hitting that corner three when we got down 2. And that one shot where he got bumped by Vassell and hit that rainbow jumper over Wemby will be a pivotal shot in this series and his career! Scared me to death when he bumped knees and hurt and his ankle. Shows you how fragile this entire thing is.
Down 14 in the 3rd and KAT, Shamet, OG and Mikal all contributed this comeback win. KAT was a lion! Great defense on Wemby, beat him off the dribble repeatedly and finished with 18/12/4. That block on Champagie, who emptied his tank in the first half and did nothing in the second, leading to the Brunson euro floater was a turning point in the 3rd. OG woke up in the 4th and hit a huge three over Wemby. Shamet with 13 points 5/9 from three. Mikal was quiet and played tentative but hit two huge FT's. Deuce with a banker from the corner! GTA was great, aggressive and energetic! JOSH FUCKING HART 15 REBOUNDS, 6 ASSISTS, 4 STEALS!
WE NEED THREE MORE! And we need to play better. We need to shoot better. Can't have Brunson taking 31 shots! We gave up too many offensive rebounds and we need to gameplan for Harper cause he was a problem. And Wemby will play better. So we can't be satisfied! SERIES IS NOT OVER!

They have to keep playing their game on the other end. The offense will come. Just stay in the game and shots will fall. I never lost faith last night. I really never felt like we were gonna lose that game. It's crazy how calm I felt as I was jumping out of my seat every 30 seconds. 
Still a lot of work to do. People cannot dismiss how important it is to be able to win ugly. They need to clean up some things though. They have made more adjustments in these playoffs than we have seen in years before this. Finding ways to win when it matters most. Truly a special team. Keep it rolling!
