Already been reported that he is headed back to Germany for the year.

Liam Robbins ? 7’ big block party center . Maybe 3rd string lol
BlueKnickers @ 7/2/2026 1:04 PM
Dadiet is playing, but not Kolek

Seems to say they have more questions about Dadiet at this point

Knixkik @ 7/3/2026 9:12 AM
There’s not even a center on this roster besides Robbins. Knicks love these 1 center rosters I guess.

It’s not 5 out, it’s everyone out!

Duncan Robinson was DIII... but transferred to U Mich so he could use to the Villanova Wildcats in 2018.

Random fact - I recently realized that Kolek is OLD-ish. He's already 25. 4 year college player, started college at 19.

MaTT4281 @ 7/3/2026 9:44 PM
Trevor Keels sighting with the Heat's summer league team. Only 22 years old. 18 points off the bench.

He's going to walk to Vegas and back to get ready for training camp

There’s the reason

What happened to Dink Pate?
Alpha1971 @ 7/5/2026 9:39 PM
Dadiet is still so young. Hope he brings it ! He is 20.

Pate decided to go to college! At 20 years old, he'll be a freshman at Providence! Amazing.

The very odd thing about the college basketball is that it seems like you are allowed to previously have earned money playing basketball, as long as:
1) you have not signed with an agent
2) you have not played in the NBA.

(apparently playing in the G-league or non-NBA leagues is okay?)

If he has a killer season with Providence, he can sign as a UFA with anyone and skip any form of rookie contract.

Dadiet turns 21 in 3 weeks! Yeah, hope he shows more poise and swagger than he had in prior summer leagues.

He showed some competence in the playoffs in limited minutes:
In 5.7mpg, he 2.9ppg, 1rpg, and shot 50% from the field, 37.5% from behind the arc.

He looked lean and athletic.

I expect the Knicks to showcase Mo Diawara as the anchor of the offense, though.
