Odds on what he blames his shitty season on this year?

It's the best play because it was in the finals, so consequential and at the last possible second in the game
Drama at its finest
While there have been great game 7's with lots of drama and very amazing plays, none as intense as "The tip in". It was not a great game itself as Spurs got the big lead which Knicks looked like shit. Then SAS did itself while knicks surgeed. Some folks turned off the game. Those neutral would have also. I turned it off with a few minutes left in first half but came back with 8min still to go in the 3rd. A great game is narrow score with many lead changes.
But given the magnitude of the series, Spurs win, its tied going back to SAS. While we think it was a near sweep, the series pivot moment was two things: OG's block on Fox (as good as Lebrons on Igudala in 2016) and then the tip which has no peer. With Spurs up 67% of the time over 5 games it was a closer series than winning in 5 suggests. Before the tip the feeling of dread, that knicks had a 2-0 lead and perhaps saw that evaporate made the "Tip" more magical. That and 53 years of pent up frustration made it the best moment for anyone attached to NY sports.
I don't want to discount The 1986 Mets game 6 "Buckner Ball". or some things the Football Giants have done in the superbowl. Baseballs Thompsons "Giants win the Pennant" way back in the day might have been for some. That was a long ass time ago in a different era.
For Knick fans this eclipses anything ever. Not even close.

Can save these ladies for the big games! This counts as one of them!
Double banner! Ring ceremony! Possible ECC matchup!
What’s the over/under on how many times Embiid falls on the ground

As someone who was leaning over the dugout between home plate and 3rd base when Buckner shat the bed, I can testify to that historic moment being surreal, bonkers and part of an epic comeback.
A new season with the Knicks as the champs is a brand new feeling. Looking forward to this season.
Lucky and grateful to have tickets tonight! Seeing a Championship banner being raised in MSG for our Knicks is something I honestly didn't think I'll ever experience! Expecting tonight to be an out of body experience! Hopefully I don't become the next viral meme cause I do expect to cry!

Season opener is the most overrated and most overhyped and over analyzed game of the entire season. I remember winning plenty of season openers when we were a bad team and of course it had no effect on how the rest of the season went. Same shit this year. It's just not your normal game and whatever happens tonight won't mean a damn thing come playoffs if we meet these overrated losers. Sixers will be hyped and want revenge. Can the Champs shake off that emotion after receiving their rings and seeing the banner go up? We're the CHAMPS and have that championship DNA and chemistry so if we keep it close, I like our chances. We have the BEST clutch player on the planet!!! And it's against LeBum and Embiid, who are two of my most despised players and people on this planet! SHOW 'EM WHY WE ARE THE CHAMPS!!!!

Did you sell the other kidney or take another mortgage out on the house to pay for tickets?

As they should! I guess I expected that to go up with the real banner, but I guess it's cool they snuck it up early.
Is this only on NBC? JFC.
