started Biedrins at C 6-11 240
Murphy 6-11 245
and came off the bench with Carbakapa 6-11 235 and Skita 7-0 235
and blast me if they didnt play great, despite no J-Rich and Baron Davis hocking the ball and missing from any and every angle.
We didnt get to see Zarko and we saw just a snippet of Andres when they were in MSG, but it will be interesting to see them in extended minute action. 4 young 7 skilled footers is a lot. I think that if they can hone in Davis to get his game more effecient--i.e shooting 42+% and taking many less 3s, try to lead the league in assists/and also work it to the hoop more instead of chucking--that will be an interesting club, especially knowing they have a solid chance of adding Bogut or Marvin Williams.
They may have spent some dumb money on Foyle and Fischer[i think every team has atleast 1-2 bad contracts] but I like what they have going on there. It was a risky move for Baron, but if they get him to play the PG position like a PG, with all of the size and the athletiscm they have--they should really come on next year.
I think they have some real hope there
I would try to dump Dunleavy with one of those bad contracts
yeah i watched that game.
baron made some excellent passes to both Biedrins and Murphy. baron couldn't buy a shot.
let me add this, the Kings frontcourt is gruesome without Webber and Miller
I saw the previous warriors/ kings game last thursday or friday and it was just fun to watch. Pretty refreshing to see a team going at it with nothing to lose & throw caution to the wind. They were just relentless and got offensive rebound after offensive rebound (at least three on multiple posessions). Hard work & hustle is what got GS the win that night.
watching Davis I thought wow, maybe it wouldn't been a bad thing for the knicks to have traded for him- of course, there would be no way to get minutes for Craw, Marbs & him...
