First time this season we win three in a row. Four solid outings in a row for our starting pitchers (and yes, believe it or not, Kevin Brown had one of them). Solid offense, leaded by an extremely hot Tino Martinez. Today's win was nice because we manufactured the winning run: Rey Sanchez singled leading off, Capt. Jeter has a perfect bunt and Tony Womack singled in the winning run. Three in a row! The Yanks are waking up! Keep it up, Pavano!
I still can't believe Brown pitched a shutout!

Three in a row is good to get us into some momentum, but I wouldn't worry about a long winning streak. If we can just string together a couple series, continually taking 2 out of 3, we'll be in good shape.
(I knew when we signed him I would have to go buy a Tino jersey this year.)
Another day, another homer for Tino! Is he hot or what?

I agree, but I wouldn't mind us sweeping many of the series to make the process a little faster

. Well, right now Im more than happy that we are playing real Yankee baseball. Today was a great one, Wang got his first win on yet another good outing from a starter. I love the guy and hope he is a keeper. He doesn't look like a rookie out there. Let's keep it going!
Make it six! Nice game Moose!
17-19...we're getting there.
.500! 19-19 now. Tino has been un-friggen-believable and added 2 more homeruns this afternoon. As it stands, Tino is tied with ARod with 12 homeruns as the major league leaders.
Incredible, isn't it? Too bad he couldn't hommer the other night, but what an amazing stretch for him. Unreal! Talk about someone loving to be a Yankee! I hope he keeps it up!
But what about Womack? Another 4-steal game! And Cano with a career high 4 hits (4-for-5). Giambi with a go ahead RBI double! Hopefully he's turning his career around. Big Unit gets a win without a strikeout? Ha! Sturtze and Gordon were great. Mo was Mo

! But the best of all...
Finally at .500. From 11-18 to 19-19 in 8 games. Yeah! Lets go, Yanks!
Actually I'm a little concerned about the Unit not getting any K's. We'll see . . .
Re: Tino, it's probably good his streak was interrupted. Otherwise George will accuse him of causing his own injuries (Remember Mattingly??).
10 game winning streak, now I just have to hope my prediction of a 20 game win streak will come true,
Nothing to feel bad about after 10 in a row. Guess it's time to start over. Bring on the Mets!
Anyone going to Shea this weekend for mets-yanks? I'll be there tomorrow night for game 1...LETS GO METS

Last year, I fortunately was rooting for the Mets as they won the season series 4-2. This year, I got the brooms ready as I enjoy some Yankees wins.
LETS GO, YANKS!
Yanks win the series at Shea. Yanks and Mets are once again tied up with their records.

I can. the guy is one of the best pitchers of this era
What a very good rookie the Yanks have in Wang! He is a keeper.
We're now a game behind the Red Sox with one game to go before the series in the Bronx this weekend.

Who would've thought we would be in this place a month ago? Wow!
Moving up to second. Yeah, thats right, above Boston. Things have changed in a hurry. But now comes the real challenge: a three game series against the arc-rivals Red Sox.
Lets go, Yanks!!!!!!!
Rack up another win!

Baltimore lost today as well, so we are now 3.5 behind the Orioles and 1.5 ahead of the BoSox.

Randy Johnson still worries me a little, but it was nice to win this game. What a game for Cano!!!!!!! And Sheffield's homer? Wow!!!!
