LMAO.
But I can understand where coach Brown is coming from. Sometimes a kid like Darko needs to learn things the hard way. I remember when I was a rookie, coach [Phil] Jackson made me live in a dumpster for six weeks and eat nothing but rat shit and garbage. It didn’t matter that I wasn’t even on his team. When that guy says something, you listen.
A couple of years down the road, if they still can’t play, you do the humane thing and accuse them of having a drug problem and try to void their contract. At least give them their dignity.
Just wait, it's only a matter of time before someone jumps on here to defend Darko.

Still waiting.
I would enjoy it very much if Darko came to the Knicks and became THE DARKO!!!!!!!!!!!
Funny stuff!
One day Darko might look back on this and say it was all for the better! This is a championship club and there is no room for rookies.
He ain't 20 yet.
Defend him? This kid ain't written off yet.
Nobody in the NBA impresses me more than Joe Dumars. I bet Darko either ends up a great player or if not, Joe will somehow snark some team (hello, Knicks?) into giving up way too much for him. And in the meantime, Joe's got a championship and is in the hunt for another one.
See what I mean...
Darko was the worst lottery pick of the decade bar none. I love Dumars, but he really made mistake on that one, plain and simple.
All right I admit it, i'm like Charlie Brown and you're holding the football for me yet again. So . . .
The guy simply cannot be called a bust yet. He hasn't played. Coach's decision. Due to what the coach calls a lack of maturity, a deep team and a personal philosophy. That doesn't equate to bust.

Dude, what do you want Larry Brown to say - that his GM made a horrendous mistake and his #2 pick is the worst bust of the decade?
Again, you can't know that when the guy's been in the league 2 years, hasn't gotten PT and has had positive comments from teammates about his abilities in practice.
