As some of you know I'm still recovering from a torn ACL from way back in March. I'm feeling good enough to finally start really working towards getting back on the court.
I weighed myself and I'm 195-198....not quite 200lbs. I got a major gut showing it's ugly head. No problem......I'm going to physical therapy 3 times a week and I'll be doing upper body machines at the gym for 2 days out of the week with push-ups and stuff for one day out the week. I've decided on a diet too so I hope that works out. I'm on a mission. I'm going to try to lose some weight....I don't have a goal but I plan on losing as much as possible and try to get stronger.
Wish me luck.
Good Luck Enyspree.
p.s. What sense would it make to buyout two players with expiring contracts?

YOu go, run like the wind!
yeah, good luck. Definitely keep us updated!
... and take it from me: Listen to your body, if your muscle seems undersized or there is too much swelling in the knee or it hurts, back off on the exercise regime and go lighter or do less. A few months more of rehab will save you potentially years of hurt until the knee is back to full strength. Just don't rush the rehab.

Did you tear your ACL too or did you have a different injury? I've had some moderate basketball ankle injuries (a hairline fracture and two level 2 sprains) but I've been fortunate enough to never have knee injuries.

I can't help it. It feels great to walk again. I know you understand. My leg feels better than it did before I even broke anything.
I do feel tons of soreness after Physical Therapy but a days rest usually is enough. The weekend really does it's thing too.
I'm looking at January 1st as the day I start playing basketball again. That would be 9 months after surgery.
I'm motivated more than anything to get more in shape. Not being able to walk sucks. I just appreciate my body more than ever. Getting stronger and more fit is important to me right now. I can't wait to get up and Clap the backboard while laying the ball up.
One goal I do have is to grab the rim again. That would be awesome.
