Last year the yanks went up 3-0 on boston then their bats died, there was a rumor that boston pitching stepped up but that was not the case especially in that bloody sock game that shcilling picthed, the yanks bats had already gone cold and he made his willis reed type appearance and won a game in which he didn't pitch that great,again boston just had things go their way... So tonight in a feeble attempt to try to recapture that so called magic or fools gold as I call it they bring in big mouth , dumb azz, over the hill broken down schilling who missed half the season to face sheff and A-rod, I mean what is that? does francona not respect the yankees, what type of abbot and costello basball managing is that... well schilling was throwing batting practice and sheff tagged him and A-rod hit a friggin bomb, how fitting, I bet A-rod shut his big mouth, I just thought it was a joke to bring him in there..... what a stupid, bush league move... and schilling and boston got what they deserved..
And to top it off, rivera struck out the side as if he were pitching against a little league team.. wow...

Why are the Yankees everything that's wrong in baseball? because they buy wins? BTW, what team had the highest payroll out of any world-series winning team? Answer: Last year's Red Sox. I don't blame the Red Sox or the Yankees for their payroll. I don't care about payroll, but if I did, I would blame the league rules rather than the teams that follow the rules.

The only player I respect on the Yanks is Jeter b/c he's not afraid to get down and dirty to win - and by that I mean flying after pop-ups and shit, not grimy, foul-play bullshit that A-Rod & Co. pull from time to time.
I got nothing against Matsui b/c he doesnt really talk or do anything extracurricular. He just plays.
The Sox is what baseball is all about. They put on their dirty, dusty, rusty uniforms and play as a real unit. They do whatever it takes to win, and there's never really any drama surrounding the team. Each guy has his own style, whereas the Yanks look like a bunch of cookie-cutter assholes.
IMO, it's weird as hell having John Olerued on the team. He's as anti-Sox as you can get. He's the only waspy-ass, stiff, cardboard-box player on the roster. He should be waived...let the Yanks take him back.
Sox are always the underdogs. They Yanks will underestimate them once again in the postseason. Just watch what happens...
