Giants 42 Cards 19

fishmike @ 9/11/2005 8:33 PM
awesome... I have been waiting for eons to see a big blue team that has real special teams. Last time was David Meggett and Reyna Thompson. Even when they were losing last year I thought I saw good things and liked they way they were coached. They were just too raw and had too many injuries on D to win games.

I have very high expectations for this team. Good D, good specials and an offense that can give you big plays and put in the end zone.

woppee... 42-19 vs a bad cards team with a washed QB playing at home in NY... lets see when they play a real team..

Im gonna let that slide. Since I know your speaking out of anger because of the ass whooping those jets took today.

It was a very nice win but this team still has areas they need to improve on. Like the offensive line protecting better, Wrs doing a better job of getting open, Eli to stop throwing the ball to low, stopping guys like fitzgerald from having games like he did today. But Barber, Jacobs, Ward need to be road and road which will open everthing up.

I don't know how people think the Jets are more talented then the Giants! Eli, Barber, Plax, Shock, Jacobs, Toomer, Ponder, Morton UNSTOPPABLE!!!!!!!

Thanks for letting me slide, but I have a good feeling that by years end, the jets will have the better record....

Beating crap teams is better than not!
fishmike @ 9/12/2005 7:45 AM
you can only beat who you play that week. Its not the Giants fault they didnt get a more "worthy" opponent week 1.

As for the Jets I didnt realize that Browning Nagle had made a comeback. Chad must really be hurt. I wonder if all the reporters started their questions with "Chad, I'm really priveledged to be here, can I ask you about the game?"

Chad' response : "What the heck kind of question is that? You should be priveledged to be priveledged enough to ask me about the game!"

as a matter of fact, a lot of people thought the cardinals would win and that they have a good enough team to make it to the playoffs. their defense has improved and with warner and their receiving core they have a worthy air attack. their running back is their main weakness. shipp stinks. remember the cardinals beat us last year with warner at the helm.

NYKBocker @ 9/12/2005 11:43 AM
Big Blue never gets any respect. You beat a team they say "Yeah, but they beat a scrub team!".

Question: How much support will NO (America's Team) get in Giants stadium next week?
LongIslandKnicksFan @ 9/12/2005 2:51 PM
I am a Jets fan but don't hate the Giant's, so I am happy for the Giant's but pissed off because the Jet's played bad. Next week hopefully they will rebound.
TRU @ 9/12/2005 3:27 PM
Yeah, I got you.

How many of those DVDs do you own anyway?

Plaxico's "Headshot" is gay enough on it's own.

LOL!

I thought about it too before I posted it but it was the smallest pic I could find on the net. The rest were larger than life.

Still you gotta be excited. The Giants usually play well starting out anyway. It's a 16 game stretch. I hope they can build on this and continue to pounce on teams.
