seriously, desperate times call for desperate measures and the yankees are desperate.

AWESOME.

come on cleveland, lock up the wild card so it comes down to yankees/red sox for a trip to the playoffs.

hell yea, this has been so exciting the past few weeks

I've been pulling for my man Bubba (As well as Cano) and that homerun made it extra special

Very exciting. After so much adversity and everyone doubting them, if the Yankees win the WS this year I'll be more proud of them than I have of any previous WS winning Yankee teams. But if they miss the playoffs, I'll say that was Cashman's last chance.

it depends if they make the playoffs

I agree..this is the first time in years and I checking the standing every morning.

The Yanks celebrating in Fenway as they win the division and eliminate the Sox all together is pretty much a wet dream for me right now.

only thing i can think of is that willie was passed over MANY times to be a manager. maybe his time would never come as mattingly and girardi looked to be the heir apparent after joe.

Willie is rookie manager. Supply and demand. Joe is HOF as player and manager, and put up some nice numbers to get that extension.

Thats still nice coin, but alot of crap for that money. Yeah, he needs a raise. I wonder if he made more on yanks!

Yanks lose, see Pinella return.

Its really a very exciting time. The Yankees have been playing amazingly lately, the lead is down to 1/2 game and even the wild card is in play, though those Indians are tough to beat, just ask the White Sox. Its a great time for baseball. Lets hope our Yankees make the comeback.
