That is very unusual to see even if the guy is 7' tall.
Still Frye seemed to hold his own against Howard so I'll standby that assesment. Howard tried to body Frye but he could not move Frye.
Howard will be good. He needs some toughness and needs to remember that he is as tal and long as he is. He has the potential lead the league in rebounding and can be scary offensively with those long ass arms.

hes plenty tough tell me what other player in nba history avg 12 10 reb 2 blocks at 18-19 --- none to go farther shaq put up very similar numbers at lsu as a freshmen on college

I think Dwight will be the dominant big man in basketball for the next 10-12 years. it will be interesting to see how Amare and Oden measure up, but Howard's rookie season was arguably better than Amare's - at two years younger. He might not be the scorer Amare is, but I think total package - Dwight is the man to beat.

He is unbelievable, no one in the NBA will have a chance to stop this guy and he knows it. He easily can dunk a 13 foot hoop

I have that sl game on tivo and I was just watching it to get psyched for the season. It gives my hope that frye at pf will be real good in this league. He will need some time but he does have the physical tools. We never really had a tall pf before.
