Walker said Collier's death was an ''uncomfortable'' feeling for those in the Heat locker room because the cause of death was uncertain.
''Obviously we're all anxious to figure out what the cause of death was, if it was some kind of medication, because I'm sure everybody's using some of the same supplements,'' Walker said. ``Hopefully, it wasn't something like that.''
I hate to bring this up, but didn't Tom Gugliotta almost die from taking supplements? He is saying that a lot of nBA players are obviously using froms of supplements--whatever that is--and that its scary because this guy died and they dont know why as of yet.
If this guy's life is to have ended so tragically, so young, I hope that if they do find out that some kind of supplement did have an effect on his life, that they would fully disclose it for the tens of millions of people who play sports--primarily the young one's.
just to add to that-didnt curry have cardiac problems come on because of *supplements*?
I've heard a rumor from someone close to the bulls organization that curry was taking a lot of suplements in order to lose weight fast last year for his upcoming contract and some of his problems may have been a result of that.....
they also said that curry was unpopular with his teamates and didn't really have a love for the game, he just plays for the money
I can definitely see that with Curry. I rather him be a little overweight like he is now than take more supplements and die. Hopefully larry and isiah can motivate him to lose weight the right way. Hopefully he sees how much he can dominate amd how good the Knicks good be if he gets in shape. I'm cut him some slack this year since he had heart problems but he better come into camp in shape next year.

I'm sure Isiah has taken away Curry's GNC card by now.
Eddy will get in shape the old-fashioned way, and hopefully stays that way this time. He needs to be in top shape for LB o help maximize his performance.
Most supplements are crap. But you put it in a bottle, make some claims and then sell it at GNC and everyone thinks it's goood for you.
