Off Topic · wow, this is OT but a good tidbit (page 1)

I was just watching ch 8 news and they said the powerball game had such high advanced sales for tommorrow nights drawing they anticpate the lottery to pass 375,000,000$ so for you guys in NY who dont know about it, take a little time out to cross the border into CT and get some. will you win? highly HIGHLY unlikely but hey you never know!

Just kidding, I saw that too, imagine winning that drawing. Man would that ever be nice, it'd be really nice to know that I when I graduate in a little less then a year that I wouldnt' have to go out and find a job!

we have mega millions in NJ and its gotten up around there a couple times. Even when it doesnt go way up its usually around 50-100mm

I always play... just a couple bucks. The odds are bizaare but you figure *someone* wins.

someone from my town won the Mega Millions last month, it was over 200 million...I was so pissed I didnt play at that place, its right across the street from the gym

haha yea...and I bought tickets from a bunch of different places but of course the winning ticket was sold at the 1 place I didnt play, and the place I didnt play was a 2 second walk right across the street from the gym...I guess it just wasnt meant to be
