NBA · Iguodala is becoming a star in this league...... (page 1)

I don't know how we failed to pick this dude, but he is a hell of a player. He is the type of player that we all wish that Crawfford could be. He passes the ball, very athletic, a hell of a defender, and he has a head on his shoulder. this dude will soon be a superstar. Maybe our Reezy can develop into a similar type of player.
SkyWalker @ 10/28/2005 8:32 AM
Keep dreaming man. No way Ariza becomes better in my opinion. igudola has it all. As good an athlete as Ariza is, AI is even that much better and he is better than Ariza in every facet of the game. But yes, maybe Ariza can become a poor man's AI

Check the draft picks we did not have to pick him. Now you know.

AI is 6'6" and Reezy is 6'8". He is a year older than Reezy and a lot more muscular. Perhaps next season, Reezy may develop his body to look like AI and hopefully his game will be as good as AIs. They are both talented, but damn, AI is awesome right now. Can we trade Crawfford for AI????????? lARRY would have love to COACH Iguodala

The Marbury trade...the gift that keeps on giving

toodarkmark @ 10/28/2005 10:17 AM
He was the 9th pick and if we hadnt traded our draft choice we had the 16th pick. This had nothing to do with the Marbury trade.
FrenchKnicks @ 10/28/2005 10:18 AM
AI used to stand for #3... time change, I'm getting old.
tkf @ 10/28/2005 10:36 AM
Igudala is becomming a very good player, superstar is a bit much, when we start labeling everyone superstars, what do we label the real superstars? Gods?

Don't let historical facts get in the way of Hatred for Steph.

Steph is the reason for 9/11!!!!

Steph gave Sadaam weapons of mass destruction!!!!!

Steph is the reason we don't have Lebron.

McK1 @ 10/28/2005 10:56 AM
Lets not let common sense reasoning get in the way of Steph-love.

NY was on course to win 33 games which would have made us a lottery team and in position to possibly draft Igoudala. And with Houston hurting and shutting down, NY as was prolly doesn't even win 30.
simrud @ 10/28/2005 11:07 AM
OH cmon, Iguodala is a great defender, and is very athletic. He is nowhere near superstar level. He can't shoot at all, just like Ariza. As a matter of fact, he doesnt really have an offensive game outside of dunking. He might develop it, but to gush over him at this point likt this is silly.
SkyWalker @ 10/28/2005 11:21 AM
He is a much better ball handler. He can also knock down an open 3. He can take his man off the dribble. Ariza can't do any of those things yet. AI's defense is on another level and he is stronger to defend against his opponent posting up. Maybe one day Ariza will get there.

Marbs added wins and we rose to 16th. It was more important to end the season on a high note, and our pick was traded.

No marbs, let lampe play, KVH always gets hurt, and we are lotto bound.

GoNyGoNyGo @ 10/28/2005 12:11 PM
Iguadola has a lot to prove yet. For goodness sakes, chill out!
jazz74 @ 10/28/2005 12:17 PM
i think iggy will be good but not superstar level. i think he would be similar to richard jefferson's game than anyone else. rj is an all-star but not elite.
Panos @ 10/28/2005 12:40 PM
First of all, can we stop calling him "AI"?!
There is only one AI - Iverson. Have a little respect.
DarkKnicks @ 10/28/2005 12:50 PM
I don't think he will be a superstar, but a very solid player.
McK1 @ 10/28/2005 12:53 PM
speaking of Allan I

there is a tribute by reebok on the home page of nba.com in the features section.

moments 10-6 are up. 1 of them is the tip back dunk on Camby.
Killa4luv @ 10/28/2005 1:06 PM
Andre Igodaula, the other white meat.

Marbury's a far better player than Igoudala. If Igoudala is what the Marbury trade cost us, I'll hardly cry over it
