The Guy has 44 and 7 ast after 3 Q versus MIAMI!
I didn't know he went that late. He's probably the best pg in the league right now (eat your heart out Stephon). He's also another of the many top players that Golden State drafted but let get away (Tim Hardaway, Mitch Richmond, Sprewell, Weber).

Arenas is no more of a PG than Marbury is yet, you call him the best in the nBA? Arenas is the typical, shoot-first PG and you call him the best yet Marbury as been called a shoot first PG and everyone wants to run him out of town.
Do you remember when Arenas was called selfish, and didn't share the ball, and the next game he didn't shoot the ball (similar to Marbury in Orlando) and nobody crucified him for that.
Arenas is not a point guard the same way Wade isn't.
The guy single handedly got me my first fantasy championship back in the Daily News days. He was not playing in Golden State and I believe he got in the line-up because another guy got hurt. He just was great in the last few months of his rookie year.
I don't understand how guys like him can slip through the cracks. It was totally obvious the guy was a special player. He has everything you want in a guard. Wish Isiah was the GM when he got drafted. I bet he would be a Knick right now
Arenas was not a sure fire thing. He was a tweener. To small for the 2G and wasn't a pure PG. He was a great shooter in college though. I had no idea he was that explosive taking to the rack. But its hard to blame GMs for passing him over because many tweeners couldn't cut it in the NBA (Louis Bullock, Anderson Hunt, Chris Jackson, Rodney Monroe etc.) I wasn't so sure that Arenas was any better than them.
