To this point Eddie Curry is a bust. And so is Marbury. And ohneslty so is Francis. It comes down to winning. If a high lottery pick doesnt bring glory to the team that picked him, he a bust for that team. Will he someday turn around his career? Mabye.

Exactly. My guess is most top 5 picks don't turn out to be franchise players. Maybe half turn out to be all-stars. Bottom line is I'd love to have Darko on our team.

No you wouldn't. Darko would never see the light of day under LB.

I agree that Curry is a bust or near bust. I disagree with the rest of your defninition of bust because then most top 5 picks are busts. If a top-5 pick becomes a pretty good player, as Marbury and Francis are, I think they cannot be categorized as a bust, just because many expected them to be a savior coming into the league. There are only 4-5 saviors in the game at any one time.

Darko is only in his third year, he is still one of the youngest players in the league, and now that he is playing, he is begining to show that he is a player. His talent is evident, I'd say he should get a couple more years before they start hanging the bust label on him.

Now this is a bust.

No chick pics in BB threads.

that's the good kind.

You guys are harsh as hell.

Darko was behind Sheed, Ben, Dyess, Dale...There is no where for the kid to even get off the bench. He was able to get garbage time this year.....Orlando had the balls to ask for him and Detroit made the decision to let him go.

Darko can play. He does alot of things on the court well. He just got big minutes for the first time in his short NBA career. He's on a new team!

Watch darko play and forget about who was drafted before or after him. Forget labeling him franchise player for being drafted #2. The dude is going to be good. He's getting his chance now and will be going into next season with a big shot to start.

Has any of the haters actually watched him play since he's gotten to Orlando? Well we missed the boat because he is out of our price range now....Next year he will be way off the charts. Kid can play. He does not deserve the bust tag.

Curry still is young. He still has to prove he can at least get Illgausgus numbers consistantly withing the next 2 years before I'm ready to get him. His physical gifts are too freaky to give up on him just yet.

So in your words Enyspree,

Dumars just traded away the franchise.

Dyess and Dale Davis. hahahahaha

Darko is 20. When you're 20, it's not fair to be called a bust, no matter what. Lets see what happens when he's TWENTY FIVE! Not 18, 19, 20. LOL
