in a situation like this, where i hate both teams, i then compare which team has the more players i like. in this case, the nets win a tight one, 2 to 1. kidd + krstic > wade.
let's go nets. up 14 right now in the 1st.
Sorry, I just can't root for the Nets.
i am watching vince carter and I cant believe that we didnt give up crawford for vince...
vince was wince but he's pretty damn good.
Krstic is a very intelligent basketball player.
way he plays 5 and moves about the court, its hard to believe he is only in his 2nd year
no way Miami can win a track meet with the Nets

Yeah, we now equate the finesse, non physical game, being able to shoot the ball with being intelligent...Too bad he doesn't use some of that brain power to grab rebounds....

sensitive about Eddy Dummy are we?
Krstic is scoring both inside and out. Posting, cutting, running the floor, fading on screens, spotting up.
have a coke and smile and STFU and enjoy the play-offs

Not at all sensitive...Seems like a few you need to understand what you are watching before enlightening us with your wealth of basketball knowledge or lack there of...European big men generally handle the ball, shoot and pass better than their counterparts..If that makes them more intelligent then I stand corrected..Bird was an intelligent player because he overcame his lack of physical skills to be a great player...Great positioning for rebound, made the extra pass as though he had eyes in back of his head, he knew when to take the big shot to bury the apponent...Making a big steal at a crucial point in the game...Now I know you are not comparing the two players...But please don't tell me a guy is an intelligent player when he does nothing on defense...doesnt grab a rebound, doesn't have an assist, doesn't have a steal...nothing...Where is all that brain power being used????? on offense??

Kidd Carter and RJ come to the glass. Krstic boxes out they retrieve and GO.
but when the game was played at a slow pace vs Indy 18 points 7 rebounds and in 2 of the 6 games he played under 30 minutes.
And its a resounding YES that learning the fundamentals of the game makes Nenad a way more intelligent basketball then say a guy whose ogo to move is catching a lob or dunk off a drop off.
hol if you can't enjoy the way Nenad plays, what the hell do you watch basketball for?

Jefferson is hurt and is done for the game. If he is out for 2-3 games, the Nets are done.
i hate the nets, but i HATE the heat!

let's go nets...

I think Larry said something to this effect once...Shouldn't he at 7 feet tall get at least one rebound by accident??

Trust me, I know exactly wht he said....just giving it to you on an otherwise boring night...
I don't like the nets, but I think they can beat miami this series in 6, they are just too fast, and right now they are giving the heat the business..
vince carter is pretty much controlling the game vs. posey and wade.
i don't know if nj will win the series but they will give miami fits throughout.
if/when miami gets bounced, either vs. the nets or detroit, what is miami going to do this offseason? they'll need some major changes but don't have the pieces to make those changes.
we should give them steph/francis for jwill + posey (2 year s&t) + wayne simien/#1 and go into a 2 year dump mode to get under the cap.
