vince carter is pretty much controlling the game vs. posey and wade.

i don't know if nj will win the series but they will give miami fits throughout.

if/when miami gets bounced, either vs. the nets or detroit, what is miami going to do this offseason? they'll need some major changes but don't have the pieces to make those changes.

we should give them steph/francis for jwill + posey (2 year s&t) + wayne simien/#1 and go into a 2 year dump mode to get under the cap.

if RJ isn't done they can win it in 5

we're are pretty much insignificant in the nba landscape. all those rivalries, nets, heat, indy, bulls...those days are long long long gone. different franchises, different players. they're all run 100X better than our organization. it's tough to hold on to those "glory days" where those teams were hated.

Any word on RJ? Without him, I'm not sure they can survive this series.

Outside of Wade, the biggest difference between NJ and Miami is that NJ plays smart, effcient ball. Miami has plenty of talent, and good match ups against NJ, but they play surprisingly dumb ball. It's not just Nenad that's smart--it's the whole NJ team.

XRays were negative. Right ankle sprain. Isnt considered to be serious.

miami's supporting cast...are not really supporting.

riley went all in...and has now painted himself in a corner. regardless of what happens vs. the nets, they are not beating detroit and are left with very little to play with this summer.

Ummmm, i think the official name is going to be the NY Nets, since Brooklyn is not a city but a borough. I should know, i live here. They dont call our other team the Manhattan Knicks do they?

They can call the team whatever they want. There are no rules. See the Golden State Warriors. Brooklyn has a bigger population than many NBA teams. They can call them the Flatbush Avenue Nets if they want. Ever heard of the Coney Island Cyclones?
