the number zero? (either arabic or indian, depending on sources, but its likely they both came up with the concept). The discovery of blood capallaries. Ancient Arabic civilizations' hospitals were well ahead of their time. The discovery of the three major acids. The invention of algebra, study of logarithms. The influence of Arab and muslim music throughout asia is well-documented, and the cultural diffusion that took place during the moghul empire in terms of culture is also well-known.

I can’t really speak to the merits of an overarching statement like "Isiah has never recovered from the Bird comment”, but find it to be subjectively true that Isiah is often presented in a negative light by the media.

Your right, Zero was stupid to say. Dumb to bash all arab culture and I apologize!

Lets just say in the last 200 years. Colonization of the defeated Ottoman Empire yielded Oil states and when self rule came to be corruption became all too prevelant.

Regards to Israel it is the home of the Jews. Its a shame the palestinians never did anything with what they have been given. Its a shame they could not all coexist in Israel. Its a shame other arab country would not take them in or provide any lands.

Israel predates the squatters who have inhabided that land. Jews were driven from that land and forced to live in other countries thru the ages. 1945 corrected that mistake and gave them a home.

Paying $25,000 to a family to have one of the kids blow themselves up does jade my view. Yeah, I don't like fundamental nuts who don't value life, especially those of their children. I don't like a society that treats women like property and allows you to kill a daughter if they dishonor the family. Keeping women illiterate is pretty darn backward. Blowing up your civilians and blaming Israel is also getting old. Hammas is in power now and got what they want. I think they need time to "recognize" they are now a government and get over themselves, but corruption is still rampant and funds are not reaching the people.

Jews must have a home and the cockaroaches who fall pray to religious zealots who misinterpret the Koran to minipulate (Bible thumpers do the same) for there own purpose are not doing anything good for anyone. Literacy, not religion will free the people. Hospitals and schools will free the people. Suduction of 72 virgins or glory in the afterlife is selfish and self serving to all who preach it that rubbish. Look to the Saudi Royal family and the controlling rules in other countries who piss their oil money rather than put it back into the advancement of the people. The gaudy display A cry of desporate people who find greater glory in dying than in life is a very sad thing. When there is more incentive to die than live reeks of coruption and manipulation. I want to feed the poor, educate them, and promote that they can live amung their beliefs in preach and prosparity. Historically Arab culture is a beautiful one but the current path of intolerance for anything that is not in their belief is not condusive to harmony.

Im not racist, im quite tolerant in fact. The Palastine question really is answered by perspective. Yes, the jews are intitled to a home country. Palastine was never such a thing, although it was a home for many but never a recognized state. There are plenty of Arab nations that they can live on with similar idealogy. I can sympathize that settlements were wrong and steps have been made to corrct that wrong. Israel has given back most lands won in wars they did not start. Compromise has been given. Those are deemed "victories" and dancing in front of the TV celebrating that they beat the Jews is short lived if they don't invest int he infrastructure.

Terrorist states like to fund those who promote terror in exile as its cheaper to try to destroy your conceptual enemy than to feed and support those in need. That is wrong. The Oil profits not reaching the people is wrong. Gaudy displays by those ruling few is hidious waste and is criminal!
