Well, if you're in NYC -- the best way is to come out to the next show. Otherwise I'll let you and everyone else know when I get a web thing set up.

I'm living in Buffalo for now-that can change within the next year-so a show may not be in the cards for me, but definately let us know about the EP...you guys are real good.

The next show is Friday August 11th at The Continental at 11pm (You guys are actually the first to know -- it's an UltimateKnicks exclusive!! HAHA!!). If anyone comes by, make sure to find me so we can have a drink and talk some Knicks. Otherwise, I'm sure I'll catch some of you guys at the opening day get together (if that tradition is still alive).

When I had a bb from my last job, I don't think I ever really tried the browser.

I do from time to time use a treo to post here- and I sometimes worry that I am about to reply twice...

Howdy Ultimate Knicks crew. Been a long while since I last posted. It would seem the same stuff is being argued over too.

Regardless, I wanted to chime in with my position on Qyntel Woods. Imo, this kid is far and beyond our most talented player at the 3. This kid has the whole package. He can flat out shoot the rock and he can go around you in a flash. He can pass and his handle is as good as any 3 on our team (including Jalen). His Defense, although not lockdown, is more than adequate. Last season against Philly this guy was totally teeing off on the Sixers and as usual...LB pulled him out. I recall Marbury screaming out very loudly...no, no don't take him out. I remember that like it happened yesterday. Needless to say he didn't see that kind of playing time again...LB made sure of that.

To me this kid has the ability to be something special for us. Hey, he ain't Lebron...but who is. He's built for NY (sordid past but tough as nails). He just needs a chance. I hope Isiah is willing to overlook the Larry connection and give this guy a chance to shine.

Resign him and give him the starters roll. With a rotation of QWoods, Balkman and occassionally Q Richardson we're set imo. I can just imagine what he'd do in those triangle cut and slash patterns Isiah had the guys running in SL.

I'd add that Balkman adds an intense dimension himself - just gotta see him against the regular season guys first..but he looks extremely promising.

Band Update:

My band, Do You See the Dark, will be performing at The Continental on Friday August 11th at 11pm. Come through if you are free and you like rock music. The cover is $5 and there are other bands playing before and after us.

The Continental is the second legendary NYC rock club to announce that it is closing it's doors in the future. So if you haven't been there, this might be one of your last chances. We'll also have at least one more show at CBGB's in September before it closes October 1st. Basically, if all you do is come out and see my band's next few shows -- you will also be giving yourself a chance to see some NYC rock history before it's just a story to tell your friends.
