Which will you buy? And for what system?
I think for the first time these 2 are going 2 be pretty equally matched... I think from 2000-03 the 2k series killed live and live made a comeback from 04-06... But the next gen xbox 360 2k6 was waaaaaaaaay better than live 06 on the 360....
Live is making huge improvements to dynasty which is a key in making me want 2 stick with them but 2k7 will most likely have the better gameplay and the videos so far seem to support that.... Thoughts?
i love the 2k series, the sense of realism is what does it for me, whenever i play live i feel like im playinglike the SUns because i can easily notch up to 130 points a game, meanwhile in the 2k series the games tend to be more closer and the development of players os more realistic
graphically 2k is better and i like how this year signature shooting motions and dribbles are being implemented into the game.
they said this year in the association mode of 2k7 you can pull off 3 way trades and the upgrading of your players system has improved.and the practice isnt abused as the players ratings wont get a major boost if they practice too often, instead they might regress
ive been copping the 2k series since the dreamcast days, and each year im more and mroe impressed by how the series grows
I'm a HUGE 2K fan, I will never play live seriously it is a arcade game. I have some problems 2K with this season though. The crossover sucks, the Post up moves are to hard to do, the Homecourt advantage is to obvious. Even with all of there problems 2K is way better then Live.
U guys r being a little too hard on live its only an arcade game if u have it set that way there are game sliders I have mine setup so it very realistic...... And the crossover in 2k does suck
2k series was awesome on dreamcast, but I have always prefered live over 2k on PS2. I personally love to fast break. Live is superior in that aspect, but if you take the game off starter and play all-star or superstar you will see how real the game gets.
One thing I wish they would do is stop over beefing up the star players. Kidd is like drazen petrovic in NBA live.
The biggest improvement has been my favorite thing, and that is the fast break. The guys now run with you straight to the basket and catch passes in stride and explode on the finish. That's what always was missing in the basketball games.
I refused to buy the console version once the PS3 was announced. PSP live is awesome.
I can't wait till PS3 drops. Live should have all the kinks out from the 360 version ny then.
