wait... Halliburton Co was run by Dick. Bush goes to war and give monstrous contracts for defense spending to Halliburton Co.

Does anyone think that Bu

Oh nevermind.. I'm sure there's no connection.

Um, where in that article is McCain? Bush is a war dodging coddled rich brat. McCain has more balls than all of us in this forum put together, and has earned his right to give his opinion that to win this war troop levels need to be increased (along with every other person with first hand knowledge of the military).

Bush and McCain shouldnt be lumped into the same sentence because they couldnt be more different.

Except that it's McCain who has lumped himself with Bush, while abandoning the principles that once made him unique as a politician:

On Meet the Press on Dec. 4, 2005, he said:

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/10266650/
MR. RUSSERT: Should we send more American troops and do we have the troops to send?

SEN. McCAIN: I've wanted to send troops. I still think we should have more troops there. But it's not going to happen. And that's just reality. It's not going to happen. But we really needed to expand the size of the Marine Corps and the Army so we didn't have this terrific strain on our Guard and Reserve, particularly our Guard units.

So a year ago, when he wasn't running for president, he realized that sending more troops wasn't feasible, but not that he is running for president it is. Bush has basically said the same thing, even though by all accounts the Joint Chiefs oppose the plan.

That's just one of McCain's flip flops in recent months. He pandered to Jerry Falwell; he now opposes many of the campaign finance reforms he once championed; he repeatedly hugged Bush during the 2004 campaign, even though Bush's operatives smeared him in despicable ways during the 2000 South Carolina primary.

He's no longer a maverick. He's now a fraud.

Just wait and see how quickly Dick Chaney returns to the CEO reigns of Halliburton after this administration's tenur is over. Not only that... but wait and see how obscene his Bonuses will amount to afterwards. Those bonuses will be tantamount to payback for all the good financial times the Iraq War has reaped on Halliburton.

They are all liars. Bush said "We'll stay the course" numerous times and lately he said "We never said we were gonna stay the course"... For the best alternative news, www.infowars.com, www.blacklistednews.com, www.antiwar.com, www.rawstory.com .

I guess we can see why they are talking about a "Service" oriented draft. What do we spend on education... and on the military? If we spent that much on Education there would be no wars, but it seems like the opposite is true now a days. Can't have a war with a bunch of educated folks, you need to keep em dumbed down with Liar TV, and don't listen to them according to how they vote... yeah, do as Daddy and his friends say. Man, this administration is like Watergate X 100...

One thing comes to mind, Bush (not totally him, but mostly these days) is gonna make this country/world go though some tough times if he keeps it up.

Pentagon wants $99.7B more for wars

These corksuckers cant be serious.

I'll tell you whats wrong with this country, there is more hoopla around the 'brawl' in the garden than there is about these people stealing right in front of our faces.

Kids are hungry, homeless, dont have winter coats, don't have a decent place to live, people don't have healthcare, and THIS is what gov't agencies are asking for?

This should have us all in arms, the idea that they would even ASK for this.

The reality that they may get it makes it even worse.
