thomas jones + 2nd round pick to jets for a 2nd round pick.

Assuming both picks are for this year they're just moving down less than 10 spots. Not bad for a possible starting RB.

HMMMMMM! That's interesting. I guess they intend to go in a different direction with their pick. I think it's a solid move. He's not great, but solid. Having him and Washington should make a nice tandem.

I'd be willing to bet this is the Redskins #2 (6th slot) so they're moving back 25 slots and picking up Jones. Still good deal for Jets in my opinion.

Yeah, I just read that might be the case but I still think it's a good move. In the NFL draft it's not unusual to get a guy you want 25 picks later. It's still a 2nd rounder and they've drafted well lately so I'm sure they can find a useful player. And for a possible starter at RB? It's a very good deal.

It is the Redskins pick...just checked ESPN.

Actually this is a good trade. Now all we have to do is have a good draft and the jets are taking it next year
