I was really excited when I saw A-Rod hit his 500th. That was pretty excitiing. Can't wait to see him him 800, 6 years from now.

You can have ARod, and shove him up your asse while your at it.

Hey next time you see him give him a dollar for me, the guy is always looking for more money. Joker. He can kiss my asse.

i'm still pissed about the Ken Phelps trade.

Another great Mariner moment. Buhner was the best. Thank you for that.

We made up for it and then some by hosing them in the Tino Martinez, Jeff Nelson and Jim Mecir for Sterling Hitchcock and Russ Davis trade.

WORD! that was a trade & a half!

You definitely got the better end of that deal. I still am in shock that we traded Tino. He was a big fan favorite. But Russ Davis wasn't that bad for us and Sterling was solid for that one year.

Seriously, that 1995 Mariner team was the bane of my existence though. Loaded up and down with pure Yankee killers. Vince Coleman, Joey Cora, Ken Griffey, Jay Buhner, Tino Martinez, Edgar Martinez, Randy Johnson....all of these guys specialized in killing the Yankees. And Joey Cora wasn't even a good player!

Arod even played a few games that year. I think he pinch ran in that last game. Unfortunately we only had 1 1/2 pitchers. One more pitcher and that team wins the world series. Damnit!!!!!!!

That was a great series though, and a great season. One of the best comeback teams in major league history
