Nellie's move on Bruce Bowen was "WAS EPIC" LAST NIGHT. This is the guy who wasn't afraid to tell Ewing the offense won't go thru you because you can't pass that well out of the double team. Don Nelson grew a Sac a while ago and other fans thought he was crazy. Dude is not afraid to experiment (no fear of losing his job) The bottom line is Nelson knows talent and has creactivity that is unmatched in the NBA and has a son who following right in his shoes (evaluating talent). By fouling Bowen in 1st half he froze the momenteum of the game, the fans and all the other spurs. Don's mavs coming back after being down by 18 pts was "CLASSIC"
If you think Bruce Bowen is that big a deal you a bigger idiot than i thought. Spurs built the lead while bowen was out. spurs missed free throws simple.
Dallas spent the entire night at the free throw line.... quite right about Spurs futility at line. Duncan having five fouls early also greatly contributed to the loss.
I still think SA is going to win. They're a very good road team.
You're like 0 for 4 this playoffs pike...so I'm going against everything you say
you're going for the Spurs..then that means the Mavs are going to win.....
I love how the announcers said the same thing I said about nellie's tactic getting into the heads of the spurs and ares and Karnivore and pike got the nerve to call me out when clearly it showed fouling bowen took the spurs for a loop. Now stop hating and just write!
What are you talking about Playa?
Pike, you and a few of (ice +k-9) bashed my comments about how much of a genius Nellie was for getting into the heads of the spurs by fouling Bruce Bowen and the next day the announcers said the exact same thing I said before last night's game.
Nellie single handedly destroyed the Warriors... then came here, did nothing in spite of what you think and hit it pretty good in Dallas. Personally, I think the guy's a jerk and I'll be happy when Duncan sends him home... but, that's just my opinion.

Apples and Oranges, you're talking about nellie and his stint with the warriors ,but I am talking about the nellie this yr for the mavericks. Some people learn from their mistakes.
.... the odds are everybody has to hit it right at some point... except Layden, that is...

lol

fully agreee.........no love for nellie
ARES is ice ,cmon swish you aren't that slow are you?
don nelson mentally abuses his players.
NO, Vangumby mentally abused his players with no 'CREACTIVITY",
i can see where you are coming from with van gundy because i wasn't exactly in love with his slow down game but
i guess when you look deeper that slow down style made him successful
i guess
but you have to admit he got a soldier(Lebron) to get down and dirty in the trenches with him now
Thank you prod, that is all i have been saying all along. He isn't a bad coach he just weasled his way to winning games(slow down-Mike Fratello clone) with a veteran team and people think now he can go coach the globetrotters !
playa look where the fast paced knicks have gone with a open offense. Two straight lotterys. gotta love it. when are you gonna start the knicks 8th seed promo tour again?
Playa, I wrote volumes of pages as to how bad I thought Van Gundy's offensive scheme was... but, I wish you'd try to understand this... life is a tradeoff... and here's what you don't get... Van Gundy's good defense and bad offense was better than Chaney's bad defense and slightly improved offense... the bottom line, in spite of your excuses to the contrary... is the Knicks got worse when Jeff left.

wow that actually makes sense......must be taking a break from his "workouts" with tkf......
