Bring in Carr.
TMS @ 10/11/2009 2:17 PM
should be 35-0 not 28-7... bad missed call by the refs on that fumble.

Dan Dierdorf, STFU.
TMS @ 10/11/2009 2:19 PM
Carr's in... Eli take a rest, u earned ur paycheck already this week

Agreed. I'm so pissed they didn't call the play before the Raiders TD a fumble. It was clearly a fumble!

Touchdown by David Carr.
GKFv2 @ 10/11/2009 3:12 PM
The commentators were discussing how Carr had the bad luck of playing for a terrible line in Houston and getting sacked everywhere. They said he can still start for some NFL teams. I think it's obvious the Raiders would be one of those teams. Jamarcus Russell is atrocious.
TMS @ 10/11/2009 3:16 PM
that he is... Russell has to have the worst pocket awareness i've ever seen.

Maybe he should wear pants with less pockets, so he doesn't have to worry as much.

LOL.

Carr must have had more reps w/the rookie Nicks cuz they seem to enjoy a nice chemistry much in the same way Eli does w/Steve Smith.
SupremeCommander @ 10/11/2009 3:54 PM
LOL I love how everyone is pissed off that the score was 28-7 instead of 35-0 goddamnit I love this team... and I mean that sincerely. The Giants are like the Knicks, only the exact opposite
TMS @ 10/11/2009 4:33 PM
it's not the score i'm just pissed off the refs missed such an obvious call... they obviously tried to cover their own ass w/the forward progress BS... no one blew a whistle until well after the ball had already been stripped & Johnson was starting to run the ball back on the recovery.
GKFv2 @ 10/11/2009 4:59 PM
I still don't understand how that play isn't reviewable. Such BS.
VDesai @ 10/11/2009 5:47 PM
I'm glad that was so easy. Eli w/ a 158.3 rating for a bit less than a half. Heel seems like it'll be fine.
orangeblobman @ 10/11/2009 5:57 PM
Man, the Giants will win the Superbowl of America Football
TMS @ 10/12/2009 12:35 AM
Giants handled business & are now going into the tough stretch of the season at 5-0 like i hoped they would... now is the time to show what this team is really made of... some real tough teams coming up on our schedule... only the Eagles have a tougher schedule left than we do & we still have to play those guys twice as well as VERY good NO, DEN, MIN & ATL teams... DAL looks to be struggling this year but who knows where they'll be when we face them again, & then there's CAR, ARI & SD who won't be pushovers either.

gotta love how Eli's using all of his receivers this year, especially Steve Smith... he's matured into 1 of the best WR's in the NFL this season... can't wait til Barden gets into some of the action, this team's gonna be real scary!

Nicks looks very good in the limited number of catches he has too.

It's a sure good thing Smith and Manningham have come into their own this season, because otherwise, we'd have to start relying on those two rookies and who knows how that could have gone.

Next week, hopefully we can do what the Jets failed to do last week.
VDesai @ 10/12/2009 1:03 PM
Nicks with 2 touchdowns in as many weeks coming off injury- something tells me we'd be just fine if we have to rely on him from here on out. That guy is gonna be something special, and can you believe he is just 20 yrs old?

What's gonna be tough is we're gonna be facing New Orleans and Arizona without Kenny Phillips and Michael Boley- the main guys we used to cover the middle of the field. We'll see what Sheridan dreams up to make up for it.

Also did anyone notice Jonathon Goff completely lighting people up on special teams?

all i know is i'm just glad Domenik Hixon & Sinorice Moss aren't our starting WR corps.
