This put tears in my eyes.

2 terrible games in a row. What's going on with this team? I guess the injuries are catching up to us now that we aren't facing creampuff competition.

2 INT's? Eli's heel is bothering him more than we think.

TMS @ 10/25/2009 11:47 PM
what a horrible loss. dropped td passes, bad penalties, wide open cardinals in the middle of the field. ugh. now we got philly in philly next week.
GKFv2 @ 10/25/2009 11:49 PM
It's not looking good. The panic button has officially been pressed.

This team needs to sack up and remember how they played during their Super Bowl run. Although with all due respect, the 2007 Giants weren't that impressive during the regular season besides the last game against the Pats in Giants Stadium. But still, where's the D? Eli, wtf you doing bro? 3 picks?

NYKBocker @ 10/26/2009 12:23 AM
The 3 picks were not his fault. The first one Hixon should have caught. The second one was tipped in the line of scrimmage by a 6'8" DE. The 3rd one...well he was trying to make something happen. That's what happens in the 2 minute drill.

If we are pointing fingers it should be pointed at Bradshaw. I love that guy but he has to protect that ball. Punching another player is also dumb. Little beast did not have a good game today.

Manningham had a bunch of dropped passes as well and he was running some bad routes.

The loss of McKenzie is huge.

TMS @ 10/26/2009 12:46 AM
agreed, Eli didn't play great but it's not his fault we lost this game... our recievers dropped easy passes including an easy TD right in their hands, u gotta catch those... Bradshaw was trying to make a play, i can't get on him too much for the fumble but i agree, u should be smart & protect the ball there... killer penalties too & our secondary was leaving guys wide open down the middle of the field all game long.
VDesai @ 10/26/2009 1:54 AM
Offense was god awful. Eli wasn't the only reason we lost, but he was certainly a big reason. This was his worst game in quite some time. But our playcalling was weird. Brandon Jacobs was finally running great tonight and for whatever reason we kept going back to Bradshaw who didn't really have it tonight. And we kept throwing deep when we should've committed to the running game. The recievers didn't seem to fight for the ball tonight. You can't let guys rip the ball out of your hands. You've got to go up and get it. Manningham definitely struggled. And then you you have 2 delay of games on third down and 3 false starts. Just couldn't get out of our own way tonight.

Anyway we seem to have these midyear swoons every year. Don't know why, but there's a lot of time to get back on track and we are still 5-2. Just get Canty/Ross/Boley back and regain some focus on O.

TMS @ 10/26/2009 2:07 AM
when Boss held onto that ball after getting his head almost knocked off i thought we were gonna win this game... that was an amazing catch in a huge spot... too bad Manningham couldn't catch that TD, it was right in his hands.

That was an insane catch. And 9 times out of 10 when Manning has the ball in his hands for a game tying or game winnning situation at the end of the game he comes through. Just didn't have it offensively tonight.

I thought our D recovered decently from the undressing they had last week. They were put in some tough spots today, but came through big twice at the end of the game and kept it in the range where we could've won the game.

TMS @ 10/26/2009 2:32 AM
that Bradshaw fumble & the Manningham drop killed us... the last Eli INT was a bad decision, he had a man open on the flat underneath, but he tried to force it in there... time was running out but we still had time & they were moving the ball... ugh, just really leaves a bad taste in my mouth, we really needed this game... going into Philly next week, it's gonna be another tough game... don't look now but the Cowgirls are just a game back in the division.
nyk4ever @ 10/26/2009 9:30 AM
D played well last night, especially towards the end giving the offense a chance to win the game, but the offense couldn't come through. Bradshaw had a pathetic game, the personal foul, the fumble, man I was so pissed off watching him blow the game - I know he's an energy type player but he seriously has to start keeping his emotions in check. Tough loss and the Eagles next week in Philly, it's going to be tough.

Little Beast had an absolute bad game. He also missed a couple of blitz pickup. He seems to be our version of Special Nate.

Manningham is struggling the past 2 games. I am wondering when we are going to see Ramses Barden. Hopefully, we can activate the big man and deactivate Moss or Hagan.

TMS @ 10/26/2009 5:05 PM
Moss is completely useless... he's this year's version of RW McQuarters... only good to fair catch punts... Manningham had a bad game but i still like the guy, he's a big play maker... i can't wait to see Ramses in some real action too... that corner fade in the endzone that Eli threw to Nicks woulda probably been completed if that were Barden... that's a classic Plaxico pattern.
VDesai @ 10/26/2009 8:27 PM
Manningham is really good, but Nicks is gonna pass him on the depth chart at this rate.
nyk4ever @ 10/27/2009 9:44 AM
You never like to see injuries, but the Giants sure could use him not playing on Sunday...

There's a "good chance" Brian Westbrook (concussion) won't be able to play in Week 8, according to Philadelphia Daily News NFL writer Paul Domowitch.

TMS @ 10/27/2009 2:55 PM
he looked coherent on the sidelines after the hit... i know there's gonna be issues w/headaches & dizziness for a while but i have a feeling we're gonna see him suit up next week... that's gonna be the battle for 1st place in the division.

That's just crazy. I hope for Westbrook's sake and his family that the does not suit up. You know he will have big bullseye for a high hit it he plays.

TMS @ 10/27/2009 6:05 PM
i'm surprised Kevin Boss didn't have a concussion after the hit he took last week

That was very Bavaro-esque. Him manhood just went supernova with that play. He needs to be used more in the passing plays. Gilbride has gone away from our strength...again. I formation with Hedgecock and Jacobs. Call "I 32 iso" then "I 31 iso". Do some play action and watch Boss, The Real Steve Smith and Super Mario get loose. I all starts with the Juggernaut following Hedgecock.

While I absolutely 100% agree with you, Jacobs has been crap this year, which has made it hard for Gilbride to get anything going off the running game. I don't know what's up with Jacobs, but he's not nearly the same player.
