Agreed. And the reality is we're set up to play Philly round 1 in that scenario. And even though we've given up 40+ twice to them I still think we can beat them. We can move the ball at will against them. Just have to figure out a way to take care of the ball.

TMS @ 12/16/2009 9:37 AM
game would be played at Philly tho... we rarely seem to have much success playing there... if the G-Men could pull out a playoff victory in Philly to end their season i'd almost consider it as good as winning another Super Bowl

Eagles are like the damn Red Sux for me... can't stand them or their stupid fans!

eViL @ 12/17/2009 2:07 PM
the prophecy: giants make the playoffs this year. and like the superbowl season, they will face a division rival that had beaten them twice in regular season. much like the SB season, the giants will beat that rival, this time the eagles, and advance. they will then once again spoil the SB dreams of one brett farve. finally, to make this SB season even more spectacular, the giants will defeat two undefeated teams on their way to glory culminating in a brother v. brother showdown for the ages. giants over eagles, over saints, over vikings, over colts.

So Let It Be Written

And in doing so the Giants will average 45 ppg in the playoffs since they will be giving up 40 per game.

enjoy bro.. we need a miracle to get in.

TMS @ 12/21/2009 4:15 PM
i think we still got a good shot... just gotta win tonight otherwise any hope will be gone... GB lost the other day & they still have to play a tough ARI team in their house... & DAL is still only a game ahead of us because we own the tie break & they still have to face WAS who usually plays them tough along w/PHI in the final game of the season, so u know at least 1 of the teams ahead of us will lose another game this season.

Giants just need to handle their binness the rest of the way, can't afford to lose vs. WAS or CAR... the last game vs. MIN they will probably be resting their starters too but can't let up in that game either... we gotta run the table & i think we got a great shot at getting in.

TMS @ 12/22/2009 1:54 AM
what an ASS KICKIN' we just laid down on them Skins! where the hell was this defense last week vs. Philly?!?!

some pics i snapped at the game:

as u can see i was highly focused on the action during the game... it's all about getting those money shots cacas (btw, to that hot Asian cheerleader... call me!)

SupremeCommander @ 12/22/2009 9:16 AM

The Giants definitely do not deserve playing in the playoffs. That said, I'm sure the team is aware of this, and if they happen to get in, they will be playing with house money and be a very dangerous team.

So let's hope Green Bay/Dallas implodes/explodes

VDesai @ 12/22/2009 10:19 AM
Don't really need a miracle. Need to make up 1 game in the standings b/c we will have tiebreakers on Green Bay and Dallas. Just have to keep playing hard. If the DL keeps getting healthy they could hit a 2nd wind this year. Don't forget Tuck's been playing with a cheapshotted Shoulder all year, Osi coming off a major injury and Canty has only recently got back in the lineup. And Robbins and Cofield both are coming off surgeries this year.

Last night they came out with laser like focus- the most prepared I've seen the team all year.

TMS @ 12/22/2009 12:58 PM
Osi was looking like his old self last night... & i was impressed w/Terrell Thomas & Jonathan Goff... those guys were all over the place making plays & creating a disruption for Campbell in the passing game... Brandon Jacobs seems to be running a little harder but he's still not back to where he was last year... some injuries in our O-Line can't be helping matters... btw, Chase Blackburn is 1 of the best special teams tacklers i've seen.

if we keep playing this way this team can run the table & make some serious noise in the playoffs... this is basically how our SB run went in 07... we weren't exactly world beaters going in but they played hard down the stretch & they shocked the world & stomped everyone out... hopefully we see a repeat this season like eViL predicted... how sweet would it be to see Eli face his older brother in the SB this year?

GodSaveTheKnicks @ 12/22/2009 1:54 PM
do we generate anything close to that kind of a pass rush against carolina this coming sunday?

i'm more worried about stopping their pass rush... Julius Peppers is a beast... asking our rookie from UConn to check him is a lot to ask if they play him off that side of the LOS.

TMS @ 12/27/2009 1:28 AM
G-Men vs. Panthers 1 pm... last game ever at Giants Stadium... let's close it out with a W!
TMS @ 12/27/2009 1:50 PM
WTF!~ Manningham hold onto the FUCKIN BALL! after that fumble we've played like horse SHIT... 10-0. ugh!
TMS @ 12/27/2009 2:07 PM
Awesome way to follow up last week's blowout W, by getting blown out in our house in the final game by a team that's not even playing for anything. This team doesn't deserve to make the playoffs.

FIRE SHERIDAN!

TMS @ 12/27/2009 2:51 PM
another invisible showing for Brandon Jacobs... i'm so glad i didn't buy his jersey... FUCKIN' gutless! all talk, no action.
TMS @ 12/27/2009 4:26 PM
we need a new defensive coordinator... are there any Jim Johnson disciples out there that we can hire? i wanna go back to that type of attacking style of defense.

I think Dick Jauron is the most likely candidate for DC. He was TC's coordinator in Jax for about 4 years and a had a lot of success there, even though he's been a failure as a head coach in a few stops. Greg Blache from the Skins will also probably be available and he has a pretty decent track record (was the Bears dcoordinator under Jauron actually).
