This game should have been a blowout, with the stupid ball the Panthers were playing. Those dropped passes are inexcusable and need to be fixed ASAP.

good thing our defense bounced back after that crappy way to end the 1st half... Kiwanuka looked like a monster today.

3 Interceptions in the end zone by the Giants. This game could easily been a Panther blowout. This was an ugly win if I ever saw an ugly win. But what is the motto in the NFL just win baby!

Giants have a lot of work to do Special teams sucked. Receivers were popping the ball up in the air leading to INTs, can't have that. O-line looked crappy first half there is no way the Giants can play the way they did and get away with it again. I didn't like Bradshaw laying the ball down when the team was looking to run clock. Lead was in hand get down and run clock know the situation.

VDesai @ 9/13/2010 12:20 PM
Giants were sloppy. Panthers really on had scoring chances becaus their recievers let 3 passes go right off their hands and get intercepted. Eli actually looked really sharp and despite the drops Nicks and Manningham obviously played really well.

The runblocking in the first half was awful though. We need to get Andrews in the lineup.

The Defense looked great, especially in the 2nd half. In the 2nd half they really got their pass rush going. We can be pretty deadly with some of the looks we were showing (Kiwi standing up, 4 "Aces" package with Pierre Paul).

We can be a lot better than we played yesterday, that is definitely for sure.

BTW, I was not a fan of the new stadium. Our seats in the upper deck 15th row felt like they were in Lyndhurst. Bathrooms were smaller and more cramped, escalators were a disaster (people almost got trampled) and it took forever to get in and out of the place. The seats were just as tight as the old place. Seems like all the money went into the luxury boxes and club seats, which BTW, were all empty. An embarassment really.

Yeah the Stadium wasn't very impressive. I mean if you are gonna spend 1.5 billion on a stadium at least have it retractable or something. The stadium lacks comfort level for the average fans who have to brave the elements. While the Luxury guys get heated seats and dry place to sit. I didn't understand why they couldn't have modeled the stadium after the Cowboys stadium. Which I think is cheaper and better since it has a dome.

VDesai @ 9/13/2010 5:49 PM
It was cheaper because it was built in Texas- I think if you built the same stadium in NJ it probably would've cost like 2 bil.

But yeah, its gonna be a nightmare in winter. The rain was dripping on us from the catwalks. I can't imagine what a nightmare that would be with ice.

Couple of things I was worried at the beginning of the season.

1. MLB - Bulluck was suppose to be the answer to the MLB spot but was hurt in the pre-season and looks like he lost his spot as starter to Goff. Goff looked very active and passable as the MLB on 1st and 2nd down. Boley took the 3rd down and passing situations spot at MLB. It looks like we can be ok there.

2. OL - I think Seubert is running on fumes and needs to be replaced. Definately need Andrews there and have him and Diehl kill everybody in the left side. This should cure some of Jacobs problems.

All in all. I agree that it was an ugly game but we won so ....Let's Go Jints!!!

I couldn't agree with you more. You took the words out of my mouth. I hate this new stadium and was lucky enough to unload the rest of my tickets / psl's. I plan on watching the rest of the games from my comfy living room.

They decided to go with Bulluck on the strong side (his more natural side) and Goff in the middle because Sintim wasn't ready to start. Actually they ended up using Kiwi a lot on the strongside, and he rushed the passer standing up. He looked pretty good in that role.

On the OL< I think Andrews will be in there soon and he'll make Diehl and O'Hara look better. Seubert is the weak link now for sure and we won't be better running the ball till Andrews is in there. Fortunately if Andrews is healthy and focused, he is one of the best OL in the game. Could be a major upgrade.

well that's discouraging

Allanfan20 @ 9/17/2010 3:28 PM
Hakeem Nicks has a bad Hammy and may or may not play. Osi has a bad knee. Oh great.
TMS @ 9/18/2010 4:03 AM
Ahmad Bradshaw gonna run all over the Colts D... GO G-MEN!

I hope Bradshaw gets 20+ carries, and Jacobs gets about 10 and slams into the middle of the Colts D to start the game. The Colts D didn't look very impressive in week 1.

Allanfan20 @ 9/19/2010 8:22 PM
Anybody know the status of Osi and Nicks?
loweyecue @ 9/19/2010 9:36 PM
Our coaching flat out sucks, I hate Coughlin in spite of the ring.

So far the colts are making our defense look like swiss cheese, with their RUNNING

TMS @ 9/20/2010 12:20 AM
fukkin' embarassing
Allanfan20 @ 9/20/2010 12:48 AM
Our secondary was exposed real bad today, even before Phillips went down. I don't mind if the offense had a bad day, but wow to our "defense."
Allanfan20 @ 9/20/2010 12:58 AM
Actually, I'll take that back. Our offensive line has some areas that now cause for major concern.
