you know what may be extra cool? I don't think it would take much for me to allow people to sticky or "move" threads to the main forum.... just for themselves.

That's a great idea, Martin. I'm sure I'd use it, at the very least for this GIANTS thread.

Yeah that would be awesome...would that be like having a "custom" forum- it would give us the ability to track the threads we've posted on.

Martin- either that, or some way to mark or sort the threads that we've posted on would be very helpful.

yeah, i've seen boards that have that feature where u see the threads you've posted on listed on the user control panel page... that would be a great way to track the topics you're interested in.

That was a big win today after a rough loss today. It got a little ugly there at the end, but the bottom line is that the Giants beat a 6-3 team on the road that was going to be one of its main competitors for a Wild Card spot. So you gotta be happy with this win. And Eli played extremely well today after getting criticized heavily all week. Good to answer the critics like that.

man, we took a big hit by losing Kiwanuka tho to that broken leg... great win but these injuries might catch up to us next week... MIN is no pushover & their rookie stud RB is looking damn good so far.

Peterson is injured and probably won't play us. They've got nothing at QB, but they still have a pretty good run D. We really shouldn't lose to them at home, but no one should take them lightly.

Jacobs seemed to aggravate his hamstring, but he said it "no big deal" after the game. So hopefully he can play and we get some guys back. Losing Kiwanuka really hurts our pressure package. It'll hurt not to have the 4 aces and he was starting to really come along as an LB. Torbor is the primary backup on the strongside but I wouldn't surprised to see Chase Blackburn get some more reps. That guy has really been coming on and I think he can be a good LB in this league. Hopefully the get him on the field.

what about Zak Deossie? didn't the Giants draft him just this past year?

Yeah, but he played at Brown University. He's been a good player at special teams, but he's not ready to play on the first team defense.

Actually one name to remember now might Jay Alford. He was the DT they took and he's a good passrusher. Maybe it will be his role to be the inside rusher that Kiwi played in the 4 DE package.

Unfortunately Kiwi had surgery this year and will likely be done for the year (probably no chance to make a miraculous return for the playoffs).

We should know more about Jacobs hamstring later. Hopefully he doesn't miss more than a week, but I wouldn't surprise if they are cautious.
