[quote][Look, this keeps up, some are going to think I actually give a s**t about Floyd... all I was saying is, he ain't a retread, had ZERO chance in Chicago and I don't see blacks at a disadvantage for coaching jobs in the NBA like in other sports. That's what I believe... deal with it/quote]
I never asked for your damn opinion in the first place. I put my opinion up here that he is a retread, and if YOU cant deaL with it Too bad. 190 losses second Job in the NBA RETREAD PERIOD, 6 black coaches in a league where 90 pct of the players are BLACK Disadavatange PERIOD. you don't like to hear me say it, then don't read it.
You sounding like you want to tell me the copout, aint enough blacks qualified or applying thats why it's not a problem. is that the case?

Funny, you give a guy who is 40-190 the benefit of the doubt but a guy who is successful and makes the playoffs every year as a head coach, you want to bury!
logic is not his trump card
Perturbed, ARES?

I doesn't bother me what you say... who's the one raising his voice? Chill out man, we just disagree on this.... isn't the first time.... won't be the last.
man vmart lets drop the racial issue, i hear what you are saying he got a raw deal maybe he will do better with Nawlings. but what is it that he is doing or done to make him get the second Chance, with a playoff team like nawlings. a half azz four year coaching gig in the big twelve???? Guys like Eddie Jordan has helped the NETS reach the NBA finals two years in a row, eddie jordan installed the offense. Y doesn't he deserve a first chance
Why do you think the Hawks haven't announced a coach yet? They are waiting to offer the job to Eddie Jordan. Be patient...
last time i checked a big east team that didn't even win the conference beat three of those teams and won the NCAA so thaty division wasn't the best last year,
I disagree ... in addition to Kansas, Texas and Oklahoma...add Texas Tech (who should have been in the NCAA), Missouri and others... they were the best and deepest conference. After Cuse and Pitt... Big East was skinny... with UCONN, Georgetown and St. John's being so so... your serve.
would be funny to see 6 white coaches in Hockey. and 5 mexican coaches in hockey that never played the game, but they are great with x's and o's, and one coach from Irag with a great college career and Marist prep.
who won? the Ncaa pike. who beat three big 12 teams to do it. who had the offensive first half genius Jerry ICE in blood Mcnamara? when is the last time a big 12 team won that was the question of course no answer..
What does that have to do with anything... you brought it up to discredit the conference as ammunition against your whipping boy, Floyd... all I had to do was prove the conference was strong and I did.
who won the NCAA ?
Who wins every year?
Who won when floyd was coaching?
Big 12 my azz they suck
thanks for playing mr smiley face king.

Like I said it who you know rather than what you accomplish. The guy I thought who could help any team is Micheal Cooper and I still want him to be a NYK coach one day. E. Jordan will get his time I don't know where but I think he will.
good point, who you know not what you know
Of course everybody has their opinions on this issue. Black, white, college coach, whatever. Ice said it best when he said that all that matters is that the coach be qualified.
Consider that just as there are qualified black coaches/GM's not getting jobs, there are also qualified white coaches/GM's not getting work. We're talking about dozens, maybe hundreds of people vying for 30 positions, taking into consideration salary requests and 'the situation available'.
Also consider that there are black coaches/GMs who have jobs they have no reason for keeping. Our very own Non Chaney probably tops this list. Ed Tapscott is another fine example.
As a minority, yes I'd like to see our people get the opportunity and succeed. That doesn't mean I'd like Non to be our coach simply because he's black and he 'deserves a chance' or another coach be hired for the sake of hiring a minority. Color of the skin aside, Non should've been let go, not extended. If he's fired tomorrow and replaced by a white coach, some people will overlook the fact that HE'S JUST NOT A GOOD COACH and blame it on the color of his skin, and that is truly unfair and unfortunate.

Ask 100 people in the media (and I know you just love them) who was the strongest conference in the nation... an overwhelming majority will tell you it was the Big 12.
Can we agree to disagree already?
ask 100 people in the media who won the championship
Ask 100 people in the media last time the big 12 won a NCAA.
Ask 100 people in the media who beat three big 12 teams to win the final four
Ask 100 people in the media who wins it ever year.
please drive home safely.
Big 12 SUCKS!!
Tim Floyd's a retread!!
90% of NBA coaches should be black...
you want anything else?

lmao.
great point nec qualified guys white or black should get jobs not retreads.
pike arguin about the strnthg of the big 12 last year when flord was in aruba for making millions losing 190 games, What was the strongest conference when floyd coached pike?? ask 100 people.
Eddie Jordan sholdn't have to scrape the barrel white or black.

Tell me, do you know how to read or do you just pontificate?
