Michael Kay just talking about it now... WOW!

The Tigers package is centered around Cameron Maybin and Andrew Miller.

Wow, that's a huge trade. Detroit is giving up a lot. They better hope Cabrera can stay in shape and Willis is better than he was last year.

They were saying Cameron Maybin and Andrew Miller would be going there bare minimum. What some would consider to be the no.2 positional prospect in baseball, plus a 22 yr old lefty who was a first round pick and named college player of the year in 2006.

But Cabrera is probably a hall of fame type hitter. See now that's a player I'd more willingly give Phil Hughes+ for. He's what, a 24 yr old stud hitter. Less injury variablity than acquiring a pitcher and he can anchor a lineup for 10 yrs.

I'm not high on Dontrelle, but its not a bad throw in when the real catch is Cabrera

Cabrera has apparently lost 15 pounds. I think with him you're talking about a Manny type bat.

i hear what ur saying about Cabrera, but he's a 3B who projects to be a DH or 1B eventually... Johan's an ace starting pitcher who holds a lot more value to any team... plus, we already have a better 3B in ARod... we have zero need for a guy like Miggy... offense is not the problem w/this team.

Miggy would probably play first base wherever he ends up going.

Maybin is a nice haul for FLA... the Tigers look to be right up there w/BOS now... the Yankees better make a move or else they're gonna be left behind in the pack.
