It's misleading... The records are done as W - L - OTL (overtime loss, whether in actual OT or in shootout)

So you have to do some math to figure out if a team is really above or below .500, despite teams getting points for losing in OT, which is ridiculous. Good marketing though, because it looks like every team is actually good.
