i'm taking the Pats in an emotional game this week as they take the Chargers a bit lightly looking ahead towards the SB but in the end their talent carries them through to a W... i think Merriman has a monster game & plays a key role in a big defensive play that results in a TD for SD early on.
NE 24 - SD 20
in the icebowl at Lambeau i gotta stick w/Big Blue as they ride their wave towards proving all the critics wrong... lots of Brandon Jacobs in the 1st half & then they unleash Ahmad Bradshaw in the 2nd half... Eli has yet another good game of managing possessions & not making mistakes... Giants D carries the day once again.
NY 27 - GB 17
I know San Diego can give the Pats a good game, but do you really think they will? I think the Pats can smell the finish line. I'm concerned that SD hasn't been able to get their ground game going the way they usually like to.

I don't pick against the Giants, but I think they follow the same formula they did against Dallas. Limit the big play, keep mistakes to a minimum, play efficiently on O (turn those drives into TD's not FG's) and finish it off on D with the 4th Q pass rush. Eli is locked in right now and he can be streaky. His confidence is at all time high and the Giants are a much different team than what GB played in week 2. I'm most concerned about the Packers going 3-4 wide and stretching the field. James Jones vs. RW or Geoffrey Pope is not a matchup we want to see on Sunday.
i almost picked the Chargers in an upset but i think it just sets up too perfectly for a rematch of the week 17 game for the SB... of course the Pats will probably go out & prove me wrong by completely annihilating the Chargers this weekend.
I really want one more shot at NE. I truely think the Giants would win based on revenge. They did Dallas, they can do NE. That would make my year!

well, the Chargers are holding their own... this game's going down to the wire.
if i were a Chargers' fan i'd be pissed as hell they didn't go for a 1st down in Pats' territory w/9 minutes to play & down 8.
