• SHOPLIFTING: An employee at Shur Fine Foods on North Main Street reported Monday that a man and a woman left the store with a car full of groceries without paying for it. The employee confronted the couple as they were loading the groceries into their car and asked to see a receipt. The woman told her she had used her debit card and did not have a receipt. The employee said she should still have a receipt even if she used her debit card. The woman then turned to the man and said, “Get in the car, Ray,” and the pair fled southbound on Main Street, leaving the cart with $68.36 worth of groceries inside.
