First off as I said before, SA was lucky the MAvs and Kings got hit with injuries or else they would not be in the finals, so even with Kidd, it won't matter, Parker outplayed him. Also Kidd would have gone thinking he SA could win again, not anymore. As for Payton, and Malone, I still will not think of them as champions if they win with the LAkers cause they have to join a Champion to win. Damn, even Madsen won a ring with the Lakers. You want to leave a name for yourself as a champ, go join a team thats not a recent Champ and prove it, meaning wina Championship on a team other than LA or SA. As for Kidd getting a championship, fat chance, it won't happen witha healthy Kings or Mavs and the new LAkers, so better stay in Jersey and win the east.
flying vee, to me you write good post but i am suprised you think dallas could even have a chance with SA or the lakers. Sac maybe but Dallas hell no. they got great shooters but no horses. no muscle, no intensity on defense.
if the the lakers win you gotta give gary his props, the lakers were on the downside after this season, and point guard has always been a point where la got exposes. beside this man took a pay cut to play on a good team. he could of went to denver and made 9 million. Fans have been screaming for that now we finally got one guy that did it.
