I am long very much in agreement with "what really happened" and realize that there are times when we will do what we do and have to "sell it".
I have mentioned that phrase before and do believe we stage things. We have to.
Lets look at the big picture and ask "did we need to be involved?"
Korea and Vietnam in hindsight were just plain wrong. What about WW2? While "Lend-Lease" was technically illegal, and the UBoats were basically a blockage than agression, do we allow the Nazi's to blitz over europe?
Any war to jumpstart an economy is wrong, but there was a world wide depression going on and the Nazi's were looking europe for its own enrichment and conquest.
The Spanish American war was about kicking Spain off the northern hemisphere and back to europe. Hawaii and the phillipines occupations were wrong, but they were under spanish rule anyway.
Im down with conspiricy but when such wide spread coverup must exist for it to happen makes for disbelief. How can so many people be involved for it not to leak?
Even if true, what is the objective? That is what I am always trying to see. What was the point? Ok, if 9/11 was a set up, what is the total picture? we know Bush had a hard-on for Saddam and taking Iraq, but what is our overall objective? How is it just about big oil and who directly profits?
Doe it serve our purpose as a nation, does it serve to a balance of power for peaceful purpose long term, or if evil, to whom does it serve?
Profits are one thing, but where and whom? You can have but so much before you screw it all up.

It's called the new world order nalod, only a few people are calling the shots real soon.
People call me what they want , but I knew about these foolish claims that we allowed people to destroy buildings in our country while putting our own defense airplanes on stand down...who writes this kind of stuff up.
Then to allow an alleged airplane to run into the pentagon, when we posses capabilities to shootdown anything that comes near our most sacred strategical landmarks is a joke to me. I served in the military and understand that we do have missles underground to protect.

Its not a conspiracy theory I was talking about Nalod. This is straight up business. Its about money. Iran is influencing the shiate militia in Iraq in the civil war. They are taking the oil pipes we setup from under our noses. They stopped selling oil in $'s and are accepting only euro's and yen. There is nothing noble about this. Nothing about WMDs. Its about us not making money off their OIL. Why did we mess with Iran in the 1950's? Oil right? Bush is an OIL man right?
I want to know why we are allied with Red China and treat Iran as a hostile nation. You know why. Their cheap labor makes us money. But they are communist, have nukes and don't like us. Oh, and they also support North Korea with training their soldiers and helping them build their ICBMs.

Its a big discussion and I can't say I disagree with most of your writing. Im looking for more than just profits. Im more macro oriented than just looking at profit motive. I don't dispute it. Im looking more at the ecnomic disfunction of the arab states than trying to preserve our margins.
Playa, "your man silver" gets my resepect. Why? I might not agree with some of it, but he is using his own words and not cutting and pasteing, nor trying to stick others work under my nose.
