He's stuck in college as Ben Wallace said earlier. Straight up garbage village idiot living more off his college success and family pedigree. He can be a pretty decent player if he cut out all the BS but until then he's a low IQ scrub in the fullest sense.

maybe that six months in the slammer will straighten him out. Player should be coming around soon with another one of his patented conspiracy's.

IF the kid wants to smoke a flower for whatever reason and it doesn't affect his game, I don't see how it's the governments/states job to tell him what he can do.
It's almost legal in Cali and he just needs to go and get himself a prescription, at least for when he plays there.

Some of you guys follow the "war on people, I mean drugs" hook, line and sinker. If a person has a "character flaw" it might only bring it out, but some
of you make it seem like it's the cause. Freedom of choice. Drug laws are definitely in the process of being reworked, but we still have that neo-thinking
going on...

kid played good this year, though not a fan, so I wouldn't degrade him cause of bud, drinking hurts and kills many but since it's legal people don't bitch and moan as much.

PARIS -- Former French Open champion Yannick Noah doesn't think his son Joakim's arrest for possession of marijuana and having an open container of alcohol is a big deal.

Noah

Joakim Noah, a forward for the Chicago Bulls, was arrested Sunday in Gainesville, Fla., after an officer spotted him on a sidewalk holding a plastic cup. During a search at the station, officers found marijuana in his pocket.

"I don't understand all that fuss for just drinking a beer on the street," Yannick Noah said Tuesday at the French Open.

The elder Noah won the title at Roland Garros in 1983. He created a sensation a few years before when he told a magazine writer he smoked marijuana.

Joakim Noah was released after signing a notice to appear before a judge -- standard procedure for such offenses. He could face up to six months in jail and a $500 fine for the marijuana charge.

"I talk to him every day on the phone," said Yannick Noah, who was at Roland Garros on Tuesday for the dedication of a walkway named after him. "He'll soon come over to France to see me."

In europe they can drink on the street.

And perhaps a little weed is no big deal, but its illegal and you can't be walking the street with booze, which is not permitted, and be stupid enough to have week on you.

I have a contract in my biz, and I have conduct to adhere to. Now I VOLUNTARILY signed it.

Perhaps if he just keep the booze where its permited, he be a non story.

Its no big deal but I just wish these guys would grow the phuch up, be professional, and understand the Bulls or any pro team sells an image and that kind of immature behavior doe not benefit the big money they spend on marketing and it derails what they are trying to do.
