I just wanna know one thing? Why are these guys driving around in NYC?

I'm going to root for the Lakers just because there's no way in hell that I'm rooting for a Boston team in anything.

I hate both teams. I'm with trueblue. I'm not watching.

I have never liked the Lakers nor the Celtics... but with Gasol being on the Lakers I have some reasons to root for them.

That picture is great - I am definitely rooting for the Lakers.

I really dont like any Boston teams anyway.

i hate both teams but i hate boston more. hated them since ml carr made that statement about ten years ago saying he thinks boston would win a titile before new york. i hope that is not true. i like garnett and would like to see him win but on a different team. also for some reason, i don't hate kobe like i did three or four years ago. i kind of like him. is that wierd?

Fo sho, I love KG to death, but the city is the absolute worst.

Can I root for both to lose? Fuck the Lakers, fuck the Celtics, and fuck all their bandwagon fans. I met maybe three combined Lakers/Celtics fans before this year and now all of a sudden I know 924,643,256 die hards. Fuck both teams and fuck anyone who roots for either one! (except for you guys, I love y'all )

I like the fact that Kobe got MVP and would like to see him live up to it. It would also prove who was more valuable to the team. shaq or Kobe? I think it's pretty obvious now.

Also, these stats are important. The celtics have 16 NBA championships and the Lakers have 14. So I don't wanna see baston win anymore.

Besides 'who wants to listen to baston brag about another championship, when their so close to New York???

And also, on the scale of major league championships, as a whole, it gets them one more championship closer to NYC supreme dominance of American major league sports and one more closer to our own NY Yankees with the most championships than any other team in all four sports. Boston is second of all the major cities still pretty far back behind NYC, but none the less, still in second place. We need to think about pride here.

If memory serves me, I do believe that Montreal is 3rd and chicago is 4th, with the most. St. Louis is there also, but all fall far behind NY, when it comes to American sports.

To some, this will mater and to others, they won't give to craps. So when you think about who you want to win, take those things into consideration. Forget about that east vs. west and west coast vs. east coast crap (in this case). This is about who has the most marbles and NYC has the most!

and when phil beats the celtics he will also be beating red auerbach for the greatest coach of all time in any sport
