shaq is a funny dude but his absolute refusal to ever develop any sort of offensive moves or defensive awareness is pretty disappointing. he could've been one of the best ever, and his supporters would argue that he is, but he passed his prime a year or two ago and now can't really do much.

6 NBA Finals Appearances, 4 NBA Titles won. 11 time all-star. No center in the league could/can guard him. He is at the end of his career, but please don't discredit what he has accomplished. Most dominant big man in NBA history, you can argue that Olajuwon was the most talented.

shaq should refrain on the kobe comments. he may have just given kobe the only reason to win a championship next year....with a vengeance
I also think Shaq meant it. Shaq where'd you get without Kobe this year? 4-1 loss to the Spurs. Hmm, who eliminated the Spurs!? Shaq is a funny dude though and always has fun like this, its part of who he is. However, the only real tragedy in all of this is that Shaq still thinks he can rap even though he never could. At least Kobe realized he couldn't and gave it up.

@michael, yeah he was dominant, mainly b/c of his god given freakishness. he was 7'1" who could run the floor, jump outta the building, and slam on people. and he was strong as hell. but shaq, 15 yrs or whatever into his NBA career, still can't hit over 50% of his FTs, still can't handle the ball further than 6 ft. from the hoop, still can't hit a J or play facing the basket, all of that is pretty embarassing if you ask me.
ps shaq got his badge taken away from the sheriff joe arpaio, one of the biggest villain's in america's law enforcement but thats a whole other story (rent the movie the american drug war to find out why)
