The starting rotation is awful and the hitters are old. I don't expect the team to turn anything around.

OK, but I didn't see you do this in the three or four threads on Duhon. On your other comment: I see nothing incoherent about this thread. I actually prefer to have multiple threads on the Yankees. If there's only one thread, there will be a few replies to each topic (at most) and then the topic will get burried.

dude, just drop it... if u wanna post up a separate thread on every Yankee topic, be my guest... i've asked people to post similar topics on already existing threads many times in the past & not necessarily on threads i've started... i think it helps to keep discussions flowing... stop trying to incite an argument.

Here's a fact that will blow your mind: According to The Baseball Report, the Yankees are paying Jeter and A-Rod more this year than the Tampa Bay Rays are paying their entire (first place) roster!

dollars don't necessarily equate to wins

Yankees beat the Red Sox by only 1 run today... inexcusable... w/their payroll they should be steamrolling every team they play 47-0.

I put it out on it's own, because it doesn't seem like everyone goes to the Yankee thread that much. The Johnny Damon thread will die and go to thread cemetery soon, but at least the point has been made. And with respect TMS, it's not like anyone's gonna go back and look it up on the Yankee thread anyway. I mean that thing is huge by now.

I'm thinking of making a Latest Movies Saw thread part II. That things long also.

Venting for me never once felt as good as seeing the Yankees win many years ago felt
