This one shows Rick Mahorn definitely pushing Lisa Leslie pretty hard and she falls to the floor. Mahorn will get fined and suspended.

Sorry if you look again closely , she tripped over her own feet when he seperated her.
So it looked like he used more force than what was applied.

A real basketball question now- Maria Ferdinand was shooting the foul shots when the fight broke out. Her season FT% was 92%. How do they (i.e. the woman players do that?) Steve Nash led the NBA last year in FT% at 90%. There are 2 other woman regulars with 93.5% FT%. Becky Hammon and Lauren Jackson. I find that quite amazing. Why cant the men match that?

I reposted another video above that is working. Again, Mahorn definitely pushed her hard. I do think he was there to break up the fight and probably didnt know his own strength. He's huge. But he did shove her away with force instead of just holding her back. He did get a fine and suspension (2 games) The girl that hit Mahorn, DeLisha Milton-Jones was suspended for 1 game.

Yes they do. I think that changed in 2007. Before that they used a bigger ball and I believe they still shot FT better than the NBA.

The WNBA always used a smaller ball. 28.5 as opposed to 29.5. And they've always been using composite microfiber, the same ball the men bitched about to no end.
