No, over a thousand miles away! I live in Montgomery, Alabama now.

Sarah Palin is a Hot MILF and a inspirational Motherly figure. Republicans will get more votes just based on that. I just find it funny how as soon as Obama announces Biden as his VP and not Hillary Clinton, the republicans got get Sarah Palin. Politics is so much strategic bullshit. A politician would kill his on mother to get into office. This is how I feel...Fuck Obama and McCain! Some people just don't realize how ugly America really is.
So you cite something pathetic that McCain did (choose his VP choice as a response to Obama's decision) and nothing negative about Obama and then conclude screw them *both*!? I think I'm missing something.

Obama is an inspirational orator. John McCain is a patriotic War hero. What do they have in common? They both don't give a shit about you. They will say and do whatever to get into the White House. The U.S. will continue to plummet.

Bonn, I had to stay in Montgomery for about 2 months this year for business. Nice little town. The young crowd has really taken over the city. I was told it has become more diverse in the last 3-5 years. A lot of nice spots. Do you gamble?

That's true for any politician but I think a lot less true for Obama than for most. What you're saying may be partly true but if it were entirely true, Senator Obama would not have opposed the gas tax holiday when people were furious about gas prices and would not have opposed the Iraq war when those who opposed it were labelled as unpatriotic.

No, I never got into gambling. Yeah, it's a very nice city as long as (a) you don't come in July or August and (b) you don't accidentally go into any of the bad areas at night.

How many times can you say "wow" in a day?

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

Palin was tumbling all over the place, and obviously has ZERO clue about what was being asked? Do you have to be an expert? Not necessarily, but you should at least have some general knowledge and understanding of the things that oh...usually president's deal with on a day to day basis, and concern matters of importance in relations to national interest...other than sounding and looking like you are trying to remember things you crammed for the night before.

This was with, Mrs. Sunshine, Katie Couric...

I can't believe this individual can even be CONSIDERED as Vice President, especially for a man who is not exactly young and without health problems.

Rove and the ultra-right want a puppet in there somewhere. I mean watching her is seriously even more painful than Bush, which I can't believe I would say again, for at least a while.

PresIke @ 9/25/2008 5:31 PM
HAHAHA!

Pharzeone, I didn't even catch your joke...seriously the end plays out like comedy!

It feels like it was edited for the Daily Show, except that was actually a serious interview.

That interview reminds of my time out of college going to interviews and trying to bullshit my way through it. "My strengths....um, um, I'm a people person."

Palin defends Alaska - Russia foreign policy remark

By THE ASSOCIATED PRESS
Published: September 25, 2008

NEW YORK (AP) -- Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin defended her remark that the close proximity of Russia to her home state of Alaska gives her foreign policy experience, explaining in a CBS interview airing Thursday that ''we have trade missions back and forth.''

Palin has never visited Russia and until last year the 44-year-old Alaska governor had never traveled outside North America. She also had never met a foreign leader until her trip this week to New York. In the CBS interview, she did not offer any examples of having been involved in any negotiations with the Russians.

Palin's foreign policy experience came up when she gave her first major interview, on Sept. 11 to ABC News. Asked what insight she had gained from living so close to Russia, she said: ''They're our next-door neighbors and you can actually see Russia from land here in Alaska, from an island in Alaska.''

The comment met with derision from Palin's critics and was turned into a punch line for a ''Saturday Night Live'' skit featuring actress Tina Fey. Appearing as Palin, she proclaimed, ''I can see Russia from my house!''

In the interview with CBS News anchor Katie Couric, Palin said: ''It's funny that a comment like that was, kind of made to ... I don't know, you know? Reporters ...''

Couric said, ''Mock?''

''Yeah,'' Palin said, ''mocked, I guess that's the word, yeah.''

When Couric asked how Alaska's closeness to Russia enhanced her foreign policy experience, Palin said, ''Well, it certainly does because our ... our next-door neighbors are foreign countries.'' Alaska shares a border with Canada.

Palin didn't answer directly when Couric inquired about whether she had been involved in any negotiations with the Russians.

''We have trade missions back and forth,'' she replied. As she continued, Palin brought up Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin.

''It's very important when you consider even national security issues with Russia as Putin rears his head and comes into the air space of the United States of America, where -- where do they go? It's Alaska. It's just right over the border. It is -- from Alaska that we send those out to make sure that an eye is being kept on this very powerful nation, Russia, because they are right there. They are right next to ... to our state,'' she said.

Sheesh. Palin makes Bush look like a Rhodes Scholar.

Sheesh. Palin makes Bush look like a Rhodes Scholar.

Nobody could have predicted that someone even dumber than Bush could be president! It's hard to even find somebody that stupid!
How is it possible she is even the Governor of Alaska?

Just watch the infomercial Palin had on Fox News with Sean Hannity and pay close attention to how she puts words together. The depth of her knowledge on issues is just a notch below that of Miss South Carolina and such as.

The Republcan Party should be ashamed for putting the country at risk by perpetuating the facre that this individual has either the intelectual capacity or curiosity to be President. They and McCain have put blonde ambition ahead of any semblance of good judgment, and they should be ashamed.

Wow, McPain played his trump card when he picked her! She wants to keep the Iraqis from stepping on our soil. Last I checked we were all over theirs, and um...... oh well. But, I do agree she has foreign policy experience she has spent at least 4-5 years negotiating with the US Govt.
misterearl @ 9/25/2008 9:23 PM
loweyecue - trump card?

I think not. More like a Joker. But this ain't SNL and there are plenty of US voters who think Palin is the answer. That, my Knicks comrade, is no laughing matter, as she stands witin a hair of commanding the entire US military arsenal and the lives of young men and women who serve.

Is the NBA season package available in Amsterdam?

It was nice Houdini act you pulled when Zeke was fired. You shouldn't have ran from your words. Isiah is gone but the homerism may still remain. Hopefully you are a changed man.
