Man, that sucks. I hope the Red Soxs don't repeat. I was sort of rooting for the Cubs this year just to quiet Sox fans. Now I am pulling for the Dodgers because of Torre and Manny. Torre can stick it to the Bosses in the Bronx and Manny can stick it to the Soxs. Hard to root for Phillie (except when they play the Mets) because Phillidephia fans are jerks.

I'm for Torre myself. Good for him. Maybe we should have picked up Manny after all, but I don't think he would've passed the hair test with Stienbrenner.

They been saying 'next year' for 100 years. I'm so happy they got swept.

And I agree about Torre.

Actually, someone pointed out to me that it's actually 101 years, because even if they did' win it next year, it would be after October 14, which is the date the scrubs won the last time, in 1908 and the world series starts after that date.

How could I be so wrong?

So the next time the scrubs come to Yankee Stadium, and if any of the fans give you shit, you can start screaming 101 years! 101 years! That's what the Mets fans were doing when I went to that game. It was hilarious!

i think the most interesting series would definitely be LA vs. BOS just for all the storylines like u said, but as a Yanks fan i'm hoping it's PHI vs. TB so i don't have to hear about it all offseason from either teams' fans.

That's the last team I 'don't' want winning anything right now. I think TB can get it done. If not, then I'm a Dodger fan this playoff season. And Torre and Manny all the way if baston's is there. Otherwise, I'd like to see TB win it all.
