Fox News reported Wednesday that Palin's lack of knowledge on some topics also strained relations. Carl Cameron reported that campaign sources told him Palin had resisted coaching before her faltering Katie Couric interviews; did not understand that Africa was a continent rather than a country; and could not name the three nations that are part of the North American Free Trade Agreement -- the United States, Canada and Mexico.

A 74 year old former POW cancer surviving heartbeat from ruling the free world. Oh my. This is someone with a college education.

scary

And people say she may run for president in 4-8 years. Thank God, is all I can say, that Obama won.
Hoopsmeister @ 11/6/2008 3:34 PM
Well there were many scary thoughts about that Republican ticket of McCain and Palin, whom one minority group referred to her as the "Bottom Beetch". Anyways the scary thoughts were that they would drill for oil in Alaska, and the along the Coast of California, ruining more of our environment, along with her obsession with starting another war with Russia, just because she can see them from her kitchen window or something like that.
Pharzeone @ 11/6/2008 3:45 PM
There are all type of stories coming out about that campaign. It sounded like hell. The woman didn't know all the countries in North America. Are you kidding me.

Whats scary is alot of people were hypnotized buy all this McCain non-sense. "american hero" and "maverick"....its a joke. Everything was just catch phrases and key words...then the ultimate gimic in Palin....I'm embarrassed for those americans that strongly supported all this. The retardation and ignorance is ver very scary indeed.

That "retardation and ignorance" is what got us 8 years of Bush's BS policies and Greed, that has put in this case, Obama, a very good man, in a very bad spot to fail, so the Republicans can say "I told you so".

izybx @ 11/6/2008 4:30 PM
Theres definetly a lot of retards around...im just glad that I can go four years without having to talk about politics again
BasketballJones @ 11/6/2008 4:33 PM
Africa is a country. Palin knew that because her country, Alaska, is allied with Africa. They hold joint military missions designed to monitor Russia when Putin rears his head.

It's really too bad McCain lost, because then we'd have seen what a great leader Palin is - she would have been in charge of the Senate.
Allanfan20 @ 11/6/2008 4:33 PM
It's not politics themselves that suck. It's the crap that comes with it, like all the finger pointing. In that case, I'm with you. However, I have a feeling that Obama is going to be under the microscope more than any other person in the world this year, so political talk is going to be unavoidable at times.

You better believe that. They're gonna be on him if he even hangs his coat or tie his shoes the wrong way.

Pharzeone @ 11/6/2008 5:37 PM

I hope both these women can land a talk show to go up against the View.

Obama is going to have to make a lot of tough choices and we have some hard times ahead. It is much harder to fix something than it is to fukc it up.

Americans have such a short memory, it will all be his fault in 6 months.

oohah

LOLOL.

Look at palins family. Todd don't work, Her kids don't go to college, and she neglects her downs baby.

I thought they would really play that card up big but I think it backfired.

I hope she does not get elected and just becomes a pathetic personality. Problem is she becomes the next Rush Limbaugh and starts earning the big bucks.
TheGame @ 11/7/2008 2:58 AM
It is about to get nasty. If you saw that SNL skit last saturday when Fey played Palin going "rogue," you could tell that is how McCain viewed her and that he was going to be looking for payback as soon as the election was over. Palin was woefully underprepared to be VP, and I find it hard to believe that 56 million people could not see that or did not think that important enough not to vote for McCain. If McCain's first major presidential decision resulted in him picking Palin, then you had to question how he was going to run this Country.

Bippity10 @ 11/7/2008 8:23 AM
I'm glad that palin is no where near the presidency, but this hearsay and rumors and "unnamed sources" are killing the media. Rumors are not news.
