I'm glad that palin is no where near the presidency, but this hearsay and rumors and "unnamed sources" are killing the media. Rumors are not news.

Whats scary is alot of people were hypnotized buy all this McCain non-sense. "american hero" and "maverick"....its a joke. Everything was just catch phrases and key words...then the ultimate gimic in Palin....I'm embarrassed for those americans that strongly supported all this. The retardation and ignorance is ver very scary indeed.

its not non-sense its 100% true. He was all those things. Dude spent 5 years in a dirt hole and cant lift his arms because they broke his shoulders so many times. So what does he do when he gets out? Goes into public service. Also he 100% was a maverick and didnt cater to special interest groups. He was one of the few voices in Washington who's only agenda was to improve the country. Then his own party took a total crap on him in 2000. Then he spend the next 8 years sucking up to his party because he desperately wanted to be president. Whats sad is how much of himself he must have lost in this process. Whats equally sad is this the McCain that most will remember... the republican suckup rather than the hero and maverick he once was.

I agree. McCain is a true American hero and he would have been a better President than Bush. He just was not the guy I wanted as president and he definitely had the wrong people advising him. Picking Palin killed him and his changing strategies sure did not help the perception that he had lost it. Hey, few people get to run for president. That in itself is an accomplishment.
